UPDATE to my preview 3 star review below.I decided to give East Hampton another shot tonight. Felt and tasted like a few years ago again. Great sandwich??Old review:Was one of the best sandwiches in town until they expanded a few years ago. Used to be 5 stars but now mediocre at best.
I just picked up food to go. They were overwhelmed to say the least. Not only was my food not timely ready, but I watched a worker put my fries in a container with his bare hands and no mask touching the fries as they went into the bag. Disgusting. Makes me wonder what else is happening that I don’t see. Needless to say, I am not eating the fries. I am very disappointed as I historically have really enjoyed their food.
Worst place ever for a to go order. In 2 different weeks our order was messed up. Second time I even check order was right and a few items were missing. When we got back just realized they gave a completely different sandwich. I just spoke to the manager, he was not only rude when he handed me the items missed but also told me that they were humans and not robot. He also mentioned "what else you wanted me to do". We liked this place before but not anymore. Not going back.
This location is amazing every time. If anything they set my standards so high this is now the only location I'll go to. Always consistently delicious.

Update: Came back for late Sunday lunch. The volume of the music has been adjusted to a comfortable level. So now, based on the yummy of the food. I am able to update rating to 5 stars.A no conversation place. What's that? ... Music is too loud, can't talk to the person in front of me without needing to raise my voice. No big deal, we'll just ask them to turn it down. We did. Twice. But no luck. The sandwiches are good, great actually for take out. Also worth mentioning a bit of a chill, maybe if less aggressive on the AC and the volume control, would give it a higher review.
Miguel is the nicest person ever. He makes my day when I come because his energy is contagious. He always goes out of his way to make sure everything is right. This location is the best because of him. Honestly, the world needs more people like Miguel. I am going through a tough time and he doesn’t even know that, but just by being so nice, he makes me hard time not as bad. Thank you for being amazing, Miguel and such a good person!
Solid sandwiches without fail. They taste as good as they look. Note: these sandwiches were comped.
This place is good, the sandwiches are delicious but don’t waste your money on the $20 lobster rolls. They look nothing like the picture and the taste is just okay. Stick to the sandos and you’ll probably be happy. I’m disappointed with how much I spent on a lobster roll and how very unappetizing it looked compared to the advertisement.
More than I would really like to pay for a sandwich, but these sandwiches were pretty darn good. This is not just a typical Subway or Jimmy John’s sandwich, much higher quality. I got the sandwich of the month as I love pesto, and it did not disappoint. Will definitely be visiting again.
