We were going to bring a group of people from our of town, but only valet parking was available, so we ended up going elsewhere. So much for Dodie's, I suppose.
The food here is surprisingly good. Great alligator bites although small portion. One of the best bloody Mary’s in town. Service can be spotty and snooty depending on who you get. Great spot for no nonsense drinks. Hardly ever very crowded.
I would not recommend this Restaurant/Bar to anyone. We showed up at 11am and were told to sit at any table. We sat down and were asked what we wanted to drink. Drinks were brought to us and 2 menus. That was the last time our server came back to our table. After 20 minutes of watching the 2 servers hanging out at the bar talking to the only guest at the bar we opted to seek out another local eatery as we were the only table in the entire restaurant. I’m not sure how this establishment stays in business with such poor service or why they’d not want to make $100+ from a group wanting some good Cajun food, but I’d recommend supporting the surrounding local restaurant/bars before wasting your money on this unwelcoming dump. The restaurant next door was happy to have us as guests and gave exceptional service.

We were supposed to meet up with friends for dinner, but they went to the Dodies in Rockwall. I'm glad our GPS lead us to this one. The atmosphere was somewhat lively and the bar had a great vibe going on. They had plenty of big screens to watch the game. Our server was great, she offered a few suggestions and explained the menu items well. We ordered the shrimp and crawfish nachos, red beans and sausage with rice and the salmon with potatoes and sausage. Every bite was delicious and on point. I have to say it did not disappoint at all and look forward to going back and bringing our friends next time.
Great food, great service, great prices. Not my typical place to grab a bite to eat. This is a sports bar, but my visit was after lunch before dinner. The place was perfect for a nice quiet meal with my wife ?

Food was okay. They charge 3% if you pay with a credit card. Their policy is to not split checks, too.
Wonderful time and place to visit. Especially the Rooftop!!!
This place is great in so many ways with good food, nice staff, and a good environment.
