Great first visit. Enjoyed the draft beer selection and the cheese and sausage board. Josh took great care of us. Looking forward to our next visit.
This is far and away my favorite local spot. An incredible beer selection (local crafts and several from Germany) and delicious food. Josh is the best around and can always help you pick a new beer. You should definitely go.

Great neighborhood bar with excellent food and friendly service. Nice selection of beers on tap, including several German beers one doesn't often find in Dallas. We meet our daughter and her husband here frequently and have always had a great experience.
District 9 is great addition to Old Lake Highlands. I’ve been coming here since it opened a few years back and the owners and staff have always been very welcoming, the beer selection is wonderful and always changing, and the food superb. I love this place!
Good beer selection, I always bring my growler. Menu is simple but food quality is exceptional, including vegan options. My fave is schnitzel / mushrooms
This place is really really good. They have amazing pretzels, their food menu is minimal but creative, and tons of great beer to choose from. They have local beers and also beer straight from Germany. The staff is always friendly, and I have never had a bad experience. The atmosphere is pretty cool as well, everything is nice and modern.
