Great new restaurant, definitely in the rotation. Very limited menus, but it's one of those places that just focuses on doing one thing very well. My first order was to go but I could tell from the smell when I picked up the bag I was going to love it. I tried the medium and hot sauce, my wife the mild and medium and it was all good, especially with their dipping sauce. Best part of the experience was when my wife saw the size of the chicken and exclaimed the most random thing, "Its as big as a chihuahua!!"
second time coming to their Dallas location and the lady at the register is always there to greet me with a big smile on her face! Love the chicken, the fries and the pickles! The sauce has a strong taste of like mayo, not too big of a fan but it’s still great. Definitely a good spot to go while on a lunch break at work.
Simple menu. Found that 1 meal can feed 2 people. The slider is the size of a normal burger. Salt does creep up a bit, so dip it with other sauces to lessen that. Chicken was nice and juicy inside, and crispy on the outside.
Love the experience here, great customer service and the chicken tastes amazing. Cheese fries are really good too and i would recommend medium seasoning on the chicken, perfect amount of spice. Great place to go to!
Delicious! I drove like 11 miles to try out the hype of Dave’s Hot Chicken. It did not disappoint. The spice levels are true to spice so beware. I got half medium and half hot. Hot was definitely spicy. They actually misinterpreted my order and I ended up with double the food for the price of one. Portions are generous. I will definitely be back.
The sandwich didn’t look great at first sight but wow tasted amazing! The house orange sauce they put makes it so flavorful! I got the chicken strips and I loved them, plus the flies were the perfect amount of crispy. Definitely will be coming back here!
Chicken was good and hot. The Reaper didn’t have the lasting heat that I was expecting. I give this 5 star not based on the food, but on the quality of the service.
Visited the Preston location in Dallas. It was AWESOME! Nice take on Nashville Hot Chicken. Large portions! Could only handle one tender with fries. I've got dinner tonight! Regular HOT was just right. I'm staying away from the REAPER. Super helpful and friendly staff. Repeat customer for sure!
The chicken tenders were good and spicy. I purchased the second from highest level of spice and I can say it lived up to its name. While the food was delicious; however it was greasy and overpriced to be two chicken strips, 2 pieces of bread and fries. I believe it was like $11-$13. The line didn’t take long and the food was hot and fresh.
(Updated)(Don’t let my review stop you from coming here)Let me start off saying it may be good to you but for me I just didn’t like it! The chicken is made to perfection and it is high quality chicken but for me I did not like it. I don’t like dry season chicken it’s just what I prefer. I saw that superstar “Drake” invested in this place so I thought to try it but I do no regret the decision I made at all. The people here are really nice and are patient. It is really expensive but I don’t know why the cost of a combo is like $13 but on the other hand it’s prepared fresh and nothing has or been just in a oven over a long period of time. Do I recommend this place? Only if you want to try but please enjoy yourself and try out their combos! This place has ton of accessibility for handicapped wheelchair individuals due to it being new construction.(Updated review)I take it back this place serves great chicken idk if it was bad timing or something but I am reply impressed I came back for a second time and it taste so much different from the first.
