The food here is really good. There's quite a few Korean places in this area and Carrollton and I can't say that any of them stand out as being better or worse in my mind. This one seemed a little bit more expensive than the rest, and my biggest annoyance was the that they served rice water instead regular. I eat Korean food regularly, I think I'd rather try other places than come back here.
Nice little family owned joint. Food is authentic and fast. Ambiance is humble but clean. The 2 staff gave me a big smile and waived when I came in. They have a few vegetarian options like soft tofu ji gae and veg fried rice. All dishes come with traditional sides as well.
Located in a small strip mall off of Royal and Emerald, Dal Dong Nae is a homey style Korean Restaurant that is not only open late, but will satisfy your cravings for classic Home Cooked Korean Food.Iced Barley Tea is unlimited and free, but if it's not your taste, you can definitely ask for water.I had the Kimchi Fried Rice and the Spicy Pork, which were very good. Portions are absolutely huge and you can definitely order 1 dish for two people.
Great Korean food. Love the side dishes that came with the meal and everything was so tasty and perfectly spiced. I really like purple rice so I'm ecstatic that they have it here!! 10/10 would come again :)
This restaurant is tucked into the corner of a small shopping center. It is SUCH a gem. My boyfriend and I went here for a late night date, and the owners and employees are so welcoming and kind. They were helpful with choosing what’s good on the menu! We tried the fried croaker, dumpling soup, pork belly bbq for two, and kimchi Korean pancake. Combined with the banchan (Korean side dishes), It was PLENTY of food. The food was cooked so well. I was SO impressed. The dumpling soup had such a rich broth and the dumplings were delicious. Did I mentioned they were homemade? So delicious. A must try.Kimchi Korean pancake was good. SO well cooked, served a yummy dumpling sauce. Please pair with Makgeolli, a Korean rice wine. It is such a wonderful food pairing. The pork belly was SO YUMMY. My boyfriend and I easily underestimated how much there was and we ended up with leftovers for two additional meals. Served with lettuce, ssamjang dipping sauce and sesame oil with some salt. So yummy, so fun to eat. Try it with kimchi too!The croaker was good! Not our favorite but it is a common Korean fish that we wanted to try! Fried well! Best to pair with rice and their side dishes. I highly recommend trying the mackerel, that’s what I’m going for next time!Their side dishes ARE so yummy and you can tell they do it homemade. Please take the time to admire the dishes and pair them with your yummy meal!Serving sizes are huge, and the food is cooked deliciously. Please try it with a fellow foodie and you will love it here! The staff is so kind and nice, and my boyfriend and I really enjoyed their company and service. Looking forward to the next time I get to eat here!! ❤️
Everything was delicious and I have never disappointed every time I go. This is the best Korean restaurant.
Food was wonderful, one of my favorite Korean spots around here!
Loved the food here. The banchan were great. Got the pork and tofu stew to share and it was sooo good. It was perfectly spicy and the flavors were great. The pork belly was cooked perfectly and the tofu had a great texture.
One of the best late night restaurants in DFW. Small tidy hole in the wall. Delicious food. Courteous and friendly people. The kimchi pancake is a personal favorite. Thank you!
As a frequent patron to the Korean restaurants in this area, I can’t believe that I just find this good restaurant!Food is pretty good, including the side dishes and they come with decent size.
