We walked in and both people behind the bar made eye contact and ignored us. Never attended to us and never got service. One asian male and one white female are employees. We are black. Born and raised in Dallas. Eventually left without food or drinks. Thankfully we found Lakewood Landing and had a great time. Ate at Buzzbrews and then walked back to our home.
Delicious food, nice mix of very yummy Asian and outstanding pizza. Ambiance is quite nice for a dive bar. Great service.
I wanted to love this bar, truly but I just can’t. Every time I go in I have to go above and beyond to get someone to take my order. As if going out in Dallas and fighting the racist undertones of every new bar isn’t exhausting enough it’s been brought to my own backyard. Cosmos was a nice oasis for me to getaway from my long days for years but as of late I can’t help but feel as if I’m not wanted there being ignored to the point I just go to the bar next door. I hope they can find a way to include inclusion because it really is a gem in the city so sad to see it this way.
Came here for the first time tonight and it was amazing! Good ambient, the food looks amazing and the drinks are the best! The bartenders are extremely nice and definitely make the location worth coming back to
Went with some friends for dinner last night. Empty enough around 7pm to easily hear each other. Vietnamese food was DELICIOUS! Drinks strong. Friendly service. Around 9pm started to have more of that bar atmosphere, more crowded, etc. But that’s understandable since it is more of a bar that happens to serve food. Would definitely get take out from here in the future!
Absolutely enjoyed my 1st visit. Bar staff was amazing. Pizza slice was delicious and the owner was so nice.
Awesome atmosphere hosted by a fun and vibrant staff. Great food selection, from Vietnamese to pizza. Try the pork belly Banh Mi, you will never be the same. Good music selection and interior. Miss living down the street but still make it in from time to time. One of the best East Dallas establishments.
This place has greatly evolved from a true dive bar to a good lounge bar. Has fine bar top counter, complete with the good bartenders. Like the sit down area and all the movies posters found above the windows and around the place. Good music and nice atmosphere for a night out.I do miss the VHS tape player with many of the 70s, 80s, and 90s movies showing on the small TV. They stepped forward from the old days while still providing great times.
Best pho in Dallas and amazing atmosphere
Great food and friendly staff. Some of the best tacos and wings I've ever had in my life. The alcohol selection was solid as well. If you are looking for a great lounge bar this is definitely a place to look at!
