This place was excellent! Our party of seven showed up during the lunch hour and we were seated promptly. We have our drink within 5 minutes and they took our order. Food came out within 15 minutes despite the place being packed. Our waiter was great and got the orders prefect.I had a Reuben with corned beef and I wanted to cry at the first bite. It was delicious! The others had breakfast foods, salads, and the veggie melt. Everyone enjoyed the food.I might have given a 4.7 if that were possible. The front window looked like a brick had been thrown through them at some point and the cardboard taped over it looked like it had been there a bit.Definitely recommend this place and hope to return.EDIT: See their reply and consider this a full 5 ⭐review! I hope you get your windows fixed soon

All around solid Jewish deli. Pastrami hit the mark. The rye bread was perfect - stick to the roof of your mouth type of perfect. Coleslaw, very traditional style. The pickles were good but you only got them with some of the sandwiches. I miss the days when delis put out pickles on the table or have a pickle bar. Now the place is pretty small so no room for it - ok - but then at least serve pickles with every sandwich. The service was excellent - and very friendly. The only thing I would add is that there should be an option for a large portion. The sandwiches are on the small side compared to NY deli's but I get it - with inflation, etc. they probably had to cut portions or raise prices. Again, not a big deal - I really don't NEED a bigger sandwich - I just WANTED to eat more :) because I enjoyed it so much.

Found this place while in Dallas for conference. New York style deli in Texas..Carlos waited on me. I was a bit distracted yet he was so polite to me and understanding I needed a few more minutes (twice) to get my thoughts in order and figure out food . I have never had cheese blintz and asked how they were and he recommended. They did not disappoint! Very light, creamy and oh so good. Definitely recommend giving this place a try to see for yourself

Cinidi’s is DEFINITELY in the running for one of the best breakfast spots in downtown Dallas, Texas. Old school greasy spoon feel mixed with that unique deli charm. Come for the breakfast grub, leave with some quality lunch meat and cheeses.Pancakes and grits were delicious however the crispy hash browns stole the show! Cindi, ya lookin good girl! Keep it up!

We ate breakfast here several times whilst visiting Dallas for the VEX Robotics World Championships. The restaurant was very welcoming and had no trouble accommodating our large group of 26 kids and 3 adults. The food was amazing (the menu is extensive with both sweet and savoury choices) as was the friendly rapid service. Perfect location if you're staying at the Hyatt Regency which is less than a five minute walk away. Our group from the UK loved it. Excellent value too. A big thank you to everyone at Cindi's.

My wife and I ate breakfast here during our visit to Dallas in May 2022. The deli is located near the hotel where we stayed - the Marriott Courtyard Dallas Downtown / Reunion District. It is also located near Dealey Plaza and the Sixth Floor Museum - about 5-10 minutes walking. The deli has an interesting ambience. My wife and I sat in a red booth. I had coffee and 4 banana pecan pancakes. My wife enjoyed her food. The food was delicious and the service was good. My wife ordered some chocolate chip pancakes to go to take back to the hotel for our daughter. I definitely will go here again my next time in Dallas.

Very Popular. Passed this several times, before we stopped. Always busy with Locals, Law Enforcement and Workers. Everything is delicious, especially the Homemade Bagels. Get there early for best selection. Coffee was good, they serve you coffee and leave the Pot! Douglas, our server was more than helpful in selections and gave us a little History lesson of Cindi's and how long he has enjoyed working there. Area was clean, restrooms clean and well lite. Street parking only. Deli looks great also, will be back!

We looked on Google for a restaurant near our hotel in downtown. Great food and service. Lunch was very goo. Extensive menu. Great food and efficient, friendly service. We returned for breakfast our next 2 mornings in Dallas. This will be a must stop eating destination when in Dallas again.

Took my mother in law (native New Yorker) to Cindi's on Houston Street. We were a group of 6, so the Hostess joined tables with a booth to make sure we were seated together. We arrived at 9 just before the rush (literally). Ordering was easy and service was quick. We had a variety of meals from the TexMex omelets to cheese blintzes. The bagels were fresh and the coffee hot. It was my mother in law's birthday and the waiter showered her with birthday wishes. Only complaint would be parking, which was difficult to find.

was staying around the corner, we walked down to Cindi's two days in a row, my friend that lives in Texas wanted to try this place out because he had read about it, after one time we had to go back. The bagels and pastrami and awesome!! Very clear and the waitresses are friendly
