positive- nice atmospherenegative-1. customer service thumbs down-stood at bar to order drinks 3 ladies behind the bar did not acknowledge me and stood at the other end of the bar. The owner was at the bar and did not correction situation for a few minutes.2. food thumbs down-a piece of so called catfish and small amount of fries for $10. Fish was mushy in the inside. Seasoning was good though.3. ceiling linking with water-owner acting as if it was no surprise. She continued on cell phone as her staff went and got bucket and mop.4. $16 one shot of Don Julio just ridiculous
The atmosphere is welcoming, relaxing, the staff is very kind the owner is Top Notch hands down

This was a momentous birthday celebration for our Mother, prior to the birthday party she went and met with Carla (owner) and Chef Otis and took them on as Family immediately upon great conversation because they are genuinely authentic The event decorations were beautiful, music perfect and food delectably tasteful.Thank you for making more memories for us to cherish.
So i had my 35th bday brunch here. MAN when i tell you the food was soooo darn good, the service was definitely what got me Carla and her team made sure they went ABOVE n Beyond to make sure that the brunch was a SUCCESS and it was just that a Great SUCCESS!!!!Thank you Chocolate Lounge and team
The Soul Food Brunch is awesome, Carla Unique is a great Hostess and she and her crew go all out to make every decoration, menu item, dance floor and DJ, etc. is on point and set up neatly. m *Swing Out and All Dance Types Tuesday's 7:00 p.m. *Steppin' & Swingin' Sunday's and Ballroom 2p.m.-10p.m.
It's not for the older crowd, they cater to the 90's babies not too crowded good drinks
