The food was really good but the lady I’m assuming was the manger. She was wearing red pants black blouse and black heels. She walked around and spoke to every Hispanic and white family. She literally walked by my family my husband my three children and myself and said absolutely nothing not even a smile. She actually mugged us as if we did not belong. We having a great time food was delicious and even the waiter was nice but that lady was NOT friendly at all. She never asked if we needed anything as she did to the other families. I love the food but will not be going back for that reason. I like to feel welcomed if I’m spending my money. I wouldn’t even trust eating there just cause of how she treated us.
Me and my husband came here on the 27th in the evening after a long day for the first time. The food was amazing but the service was poor He didn't get his refill or tartar sauce til he was finished with his food. The young waitress was helping everyone. The older one didn't greet us or check on us. I would not recommend. We came from Wylie and was very disappointed.
Great Service: Fat TuesdayWe got a quick seat for a busy midweek day. Service was very attentive, I believe every almost every staff member on floor touched our table to check on us at least once. Food was served hot, fresh and fast, especially during dinner rush.$130 + tip: 4 glasses of wine, 2lbs of crawfish, 1.5 lbs of shrimp, appetizer, tea to go.*** Personal Preference: I would like more Potato and corn with each plate. Our first order of .5lbs of shrimp and 2lbs of crawfish (3 plates) came with half a cob ( 2 quarters) and half a potato ( 2 quarters ) didn’t even get a full corn or potato split between 3 plates. ***Would recommend, great staff and atmosphere for a Louisiana/ Creole restaurant.
The staff was very friendly, and I was seated very quickly. I ordered out so I sat at the bar. Currently here so haven't gotten my food yet. Will post more after I eat.Was so delicious!! I can't wait to actually sit down and eat the food there. The staff seemed very friendly and very engaging! I love that from local places!
Today 1-18-22 my coworker and I ordered seafood Fondue and this is what I was sent via door dash. I called the restaurant and spoke with Ilena who advised me that she would replace my meal but called my cell phone back about 10 mins later stating that her boss said that I would have to take this up with door dash. I wasn't asking or a refund I only wanted my meal in which I paid for. Door dash didn't prepare the meal . I've ordered this before in person and it was GREAT. The customer service was GREAT as well but today I'm not sure what's going on with the cook or management team. I'm still waiting on Jim to call me back with a solution. I’m so glad I gave this place another try. The food carried well Togo, I ordered of Uber eats. The Cajun tamales with ranch were delicious and I loved the cabbage salad they sent with my crawfish étouffée.
My dad turned 91 and wanted Cajun Food for his birthday. Checked out the menu and we ordered take out. Still not eating in restaurants because of COVID. Food was ready when promised, hot and delicious. Between the 8 of us we had a good selection of items and everyone enjoyed their food. I’m including a pic of my dad’s fried soft shell crab meal. He was SO HAPPY! Thank you for making his special day awesome!

This was my first time here tonight and I truly did not enjoy my experience and wish I would’ve never came in. I am not so sure if it was an off night for them or if this is how they usually are but I truly wasn’t impressed.I came in thinking that the reviews were an homage to their food. The customer service was very bad today and that just didn’t want to make me stay here at all. I was the only African Woman tonight at this time and I had been sat right next to this very large party. But I had been sitting there for awhile before anyone even asked me what I wanted and it was AFTER an older white couple had just sat down and they had been greeted, and was able to order by an actual server. She went straight to them and she was white herself so to me it just didn’t look good on paper. I am pretty sure that is not what this restaurant about however it didn’t make me feel good. Because I had mainly just been ignored and the hostess was the one who was trying to serve me which was also the couple had been say immediately and I had been there for about 10 minutes. That didn’t make me feel good as a customer so I decided to leave after only having a cup of gumbo. I also do not prefer the additional charge for credit cards I have never had that from a restaurant. I won’t be back for Quite awhile
My friend and I went here blindly. Just picked a restaurant to visit and it did not disappoint. My food was so good! It was very reminiscent of being in my grandmother's kitchen. New Orleans native here so this was a treat to me. Other's have left posts saying Cajun food was good. This is a creole restaurant. Big difference. Service was great. We had a good time and will be returning regularly!
