This place is swanky and cozy and has a wonderful rooftop deck. The drinks and food were good, too. This is not a spot I would frequently visit but is definitely a fancy, special occasion treat! I went to meet two close friends and we had a blast taking pictures during golden hour. Make sure to get a reservation if you are planning to go on a Saturday night. Lexi was our waitress and she was wonderful and I can't wait to go back!

My expectations were already high from the many great things I’ve heard, but Catbird surpassed them all. The decor is unique, the outdoor views were spectacular, it was quite the vibe. The waitstaff were super knowledgeable about the menu, the bartenders mixed fabulous drinks, and the food was out of this world. We tried almost everything on the menu and it was all delectable. The octopus tacos were my favorite, but it was so hard to choose! The s’mores dessert was the perfect way end our time there (along with several selfies on the I way out.)

Awesome patio! Hip vibe where people go to see and be seen. Loved the music. Take your credit card, drinks prices are steep but they do a great job making well balanced, interesting drinks. And it's just appetizers on the patio, which we didn't know in advance. But we had a great time ?

Location: Decent location downtown. Easy to find. May be tough to find parking (though I lucked out and found nearby parking). If you’re close just Uber/Lyft it over.Ambience: Beautiful. Beautiful indoor decor from the moment you step onto this floor. There is a fireplace inside and patio space on each side of Catbird. The ceiling on one section has flower decor. Nice viewsDress: Dress nice. Most ladies were in dresses like me. A lot of men were in suits or button down shirts. Some were a little more casual.Food: Meh. I wouldn’t come to this place the food. Limited options and little flavor for my taste.Prices: Price is okay but not equal to the quality of food and service.Service: Lackluster waitresses. The host quickly get you seated. Bartenders are great. But service at a table is not ideal. It almost felt like being present there was a bother Possibly understaffed?Overall: Its a cool and trendy place to go for drinks however I wouldn’t go back for dinner. The setting is cool for pictures and rooftop views. Just don’t expect flavorful food and great service while dining there. ?

I’ve been here several times with my husband, girlfriends, or on a double date. Delicious food, tapa style, and drinks?. Service is good and atmosphere is open and airy indoors with an option for their outdoor patio. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Trendy little rooftop lounge. Probably not the type of place I would bring a date but seemed like a cool spot for drinks with your coworkers. The service was great. The food was a bit lackluster. The truffle fries were exactly that, the katsu sandwich was different but it didn't wow me, and the salmon sashimi was a bit different as well but overall nothing notable about the food. The drinks were a pretty heavy pour which might be reason enough for some, but I didn't find either of them very good. If you like tequila (which I don't) the catbird old fashioned would be good... I was glad the server asked though. The martini was unusual and very strong. The valet situation outside was a bit unusual as well... pay and then take the elevator down and walk to the garage where they'll bring your car out.

Super cute!! Nice for every type of outing, date with a girlfriend, a real date with your man & even a double date! The outside / patio is just as cute or even cuter than inside. In this cold weather they keep it warm & cozy (that was my favorite part)? I didn’t get to try the food unfortunately but I loved the drinks!!!

Okay LOVE. The Catbird is such a cozy spot. Great for intimate meetings inside the main dining/lounge area. Jazz on Tuesday’s—come out and support the local talent. There’s great musicians here in DFW. I got the house Catbird cocktail, duck salad, and the S’mores dessert. The duck was almost steak like—so good—and don’t get me started on the s’mores!! If anything at least come for drinks and a dessert to end the night. *chef’s kiss* the ambience is crazy. And when it gets warm, the patio has lots of room, covered and uncovered.

I had an out of body eating experience!. The lamb chops I had were the best I’ve ever had, the tenderness, juiciness and flavors combined perfectly to give a taste i have never had in my 21 years of life on this earth. I experienced the feeling of eating for the first time over again, truly remarkable!. Oh, the service was exquisite as well.

Staying at the Thompson Hotel inside the building where The Catbird is located, I walked in the restaurant without a reservation on New Years Day. Waited almost 10min to be told that they could not seat us. While I was holding the elevator for my mother and wife my son’s hand got stuck in the elevator. the hosts and manager said absolutely nothing as my son screamed in horror. I may be filing a lawsuit with the property manager as a result.
