AMAZING authentic food....
Great European vibe and tapas
Se always enjoying our time there and the food, the ambiance, great service, especial Thanks to Mario, he was very kind and nice working with us. Thanks Mario, you are doing a wonderful job.
Excellent food, drinks and flamenco!!!I had a blast. The only thing I didn't like is that the tables are. Very tight and the place is really small.
For the most part most of the tapas were very good but at the price point for them i feel like there should have been more of everything, particularly the cheese board which was the most lackluster $15 cheese board I've ever had. 3 different cheeses (2 pieces of each), 2 crackers somewhere between rhe size of a nickel and a quarter, a few almonds, 2 1 inch cubes of fig bread, and a little bit of some sort of jelly to go with it. Compared to cheeseboards of equal price I've gotten elsewhere it seemed like they had 4 people order it at the same time with only enough stuff to make one and just stretched it out. The calamari was also disappointing as it tasted like nothing and also had a small portion size for the price compared to places like tgifridays were the quality is also, shockingly, better. Blood sausage, lamb meatballs, beef skewer, and many others were all fantastic as far as flavor went. This is a great place to sit down and get some tasty snacks but for that reason I'd also only go back if, like this time, I was invited by a friend in family. Also when I went the dining room was almost entirely open but for whatever reason my family and I were all seated at 2 tables directly to the side of the front door when it was 20f outside so any time the door was open we were blasted by below freezing air for when there were easily 15 other tables in the main room that were open where this wouldn't have been the case. Our waiter was great, I forget his name unfortunately, but this is why my experience is rated as so. 1 star foe the waiter, 1 star for the food that was flavorful, 3 off for the way we were seated, the price point, and the portion size and cheese board. Overall my experience was lackluster and thus I won't be going back unless through invitation of someone else.
It's just like being in Spain! The food is DELICIOUS and traditional, the atmosphere is authentic, fun, and lively, and the service is outstanding!! Some of our favorite dishes were the Tortilla Española, beef tenderloin with crunchy garlic chips, fried goat cheese with caramelized onions, manchego cheese croquettes, and Moroccan chicken skewer! We can't wait to go back and take our friends!
I have loved coming here for decades.
Just like in Spain. Tapas are not meant as a meal. I mean, you can make them a meal, but in reality, they just accompany drinks and your pleasant conversation ;)This place is excellent, and the quality of the food is well above average. You unfortunately still will find some bag salad from the supermarket, but the meats are cooked to perfection and the sauces very flavorful. Try the pinchito moruño and the lamb skewer. They were really good.
Food was ok. Expensive prices. Atmosphere was nice UNTIL told we were going to have to move where we were sitting during our last course of food. Not asked...told. Was bizarre request when you have been seated in your set place. After fact manager asserted they were going to offer us a drink ...that should have been offer prior to be told we would need to move mid meal.
My 1st Tapas experience in a highly successful Spanish themed restaurant. My large family group and even our picky-picky eaters cleaned their plates during a continuous tapas service. Staff was exceptional, especially for newbies. Full stock of high-end offerings for any exquisite guest and something for everyone. I apologize for being so impressed that i forgot to take pics. But CM is on my list of "Return Visit ASAP". Do not hesitate to try Cafe Madrid if your visiting or lucky enough to live in the DFW area. Very reasonable for such an exceptional menu.
