Nice dive-ish bar with live music, great service and Cajun food. Fried pickles were good but the huspuppies were great! Didn’t try anything else so leaving room for experience for last star. Worth it for hush puppies alone.
Food here is really good! Great playlist while you dine. Gratuity is automatically added onto all purchases no matter the party size.
Been going here for a couple years now. The Mac and cheese is heavenly. You can't go wrong with fried pickles and the banana pudding is a must.
We had already eaten dinner but we heard some blues music and had to stop in and check it out. We got some drinks and the boudin balls. The place was clean and the service was great! We were told that they often have live music and to look on their Facebook page for a lineup. We will be back for the full effect.
Bucky Moonshines has been one of my favorite cajun restaurants for many years. Chef Ivan and staff have created a menu that rivals, and often times is better than what I have had in New Orleans. The etouffee is the best in town, and the catfish pontchartrain is a signature dish you must try. If you haven't been to Bucky Moonshines, you don't know what you are missing. Great for the family or a date night out. You'll love it, I guarantee.
The jalapeno waffle with chicken fingers was the best I've ever had! I didn't get a picture but my friend had salmon and said it was very good.I was there for a birthday event and it was a pleasant surprise. I'll definitely be back!
Visited Bucky Moonshines to celebrate my dad’s birthday! They accommodated our group of about 20+ on the patio on a Saturday afternoon. The food and drinks were great and everybody was satisfied with their orders—it was great! A few of us hung around for the live music and had a wonderful time! Support local business!
One of the best places to pick up a Po boy in the dfw area. We've been coming here for a couple years and not once have we been disappointed. Their banana pudding is ???. Bread pudding wasn't our favorite. No matter if we're picking up or dining in, service is always great.
