Holy cow the fried chicken is the BOMB! Super moist, very crispy, and amazing flavor (with a slight sweetness to it). Definitely some of the best fried chicken I've had.
This is a nice spot for a quick bite and drink.It's a barebones place with a good vibe, and you can expect friendly and prompt to-the-point service.The hot fried chicken drumsticks, though not super hot from the fryer, are still fairly hot. More importantly, they're crispy, tender, juicy, and flavorful with a kick of decent (not overwhelming) spice. Sides like the mac and cheese are pretty tasty too, and complement the chicken.Additionally, the drinks here are strong, which is a big plus. Overall, it's a really nice place to grab a quality drink and food while walking around Deep Ellum during a late night.
Absolutely the best chicken I’ve ever had, right up there with Pecan Lodge and Terry Black for Deep Ellum food! Love this place and the atmosphere so much! If you can only go to one place in Dallas, this needs to be it!
Y’all! This place is a secret gem! The chicken…. mashed potatoes, corn and mac n’ cheese 100% the best and nothing like you have ever had before! Make sure to sit at the bar so you can chat with “Big Sexy”. His knowledge and recommendations are spot on.
Best fried chicken, best flavored hot sauce, best atmosphere, and the best staff. Absolutely love this place and always bring my out of town guests here. Go on a week night and chat with the bartenders!

I’d give Brick & Bones 6 stars if I could.Writing this as I’m here on a Tuesday night as if they don’t have enough good reviews….Real chill spot, small, no fuss, no muss, easy menu. Definitely adding this into our weekday rotation.We ordered the 10 pc bucket, mac and corn with a few drinks. Pretty good food honestly & their drinks are bartenders-kiss ?Couldn’t have found a better shicken spot.Oh and they give you a hot towel after you clean the bones… huh?! Just amazing. It’s seriously all in the details..
The food is off the chain. The ambiance was dope. The bartenders hooked me up with dark meat chicken to try to alter my opinion of it and IT WORKED! 10/10 would recommend! It is decently priced too! Love it
