This place has had new ownership recently. The service and food have greatly improved since! I really enjoyed the bagel this morning. My food came out quick and the employee was very nice and friendly. Will definitely come back!
Very strange experience, and I wasn't comfortable eating my bagel after leaving. The older gentleman didn't take card so I withdrew cash to pay, but he took about 10 minutes to make a lox bagel because he kept asking me what ingredients I wanted in it (even though they're listed on the menu behind him). He also kept asking if I liked each individual ingredient, and how much I liked them (tomato, onions, etc). When it came time to put on the salmon, he used his (gloved) hands to put the last piece in his mouth, lick his finger, and then finish assembling my bagel. I paid for it, but didn't feel comfortable eating it. The salmon thing made me really uncomfortable because it was totally unsanitary (especially in the time of COVID!).Oh, also, the muffins and donuts sitting in the display case looked really old... there was even condensation forming on the inside of the plastic containers they were in!
DISGUSTING!!! I swear to god the cream cheese was rancid. They only took cash. We’re extremely slow. And then it was NASTY!!!
The most amazing customer service this morning at bennys bagels! The gyro and bagels were all top notch- just like the service! Everyone in the Dallas area must try!
I walked in hungry for breakfast and met owner Naim. He greeted me warmly, like an old friend.He shared he's story of making bagels for over 30 years and proceeded to make me a fresh breakfast bagel on the spot! ?While they don't take cash, the service and atencion is first class and everyone should support a business built on passion and love.My fresh bagel was delicious I will always have breakfast here, whenever I work downtown.Thank you, Benny's Bagels made my day!
