The food is always so good!! The Spring Rolls are my fave, non fried! Orders the Jungle Curry dish, level 4 the hottest, it did not disappoint. My husband ordered the Teriyaki Grilled Chicken w Broccoli. Really good, sweet sauce. Our waitress Lan and the others are always very welcoming!
Absolutely love this restaurant. It is the same today as it was nearly 25 years ago. They have always served fresh, good tasting food. My husband and I have enjoyed their combination drunken noodles with #2 spice, crab stir fry with #2 spice, tempura shrimp or something similar to it, and their fried red snapper. All excellent dishes. We are looking forward to trying something different on our next dine in experience.
Pleasant atmosphere, but will need to point out my main, beef, dish was super salty. I couldn't eat it. Did not complain because I'm taking it in a doggie bag and try fixing it at home. I did ask for a side of steamed rice to help neutralize the saltiness. The crispy veggie spring rolls were great, along with the corn patties. These orders come with 4 but I asked for half order. They agreed. Customer service could be a little better. They didn't bring sugar, condiments, or napkins, until I asked for these. Restrooms are outside the restaurant, in a separate hallway within the building.
First time here. The duck was delicious, tender, and crunchy. Will definitely bring a date next time who enjoys good Thai!
HANDS DOWN the best Thai food in Dallas!!! Everything we had was incredible from the chicken satay to the crispy spring rolls. For the main entree I had the roasted duck curry…I wish I got two orders. I will be thinking about that dish until the next time I come to Dallas. Don’t think I’ll explore other options now that I’ve found this place
Favorite Thai restaurant of all time. Portions are big, tasty and fresh. I always get Bangkok City Shrimp for our appetizer. You should try it!
This is probably the closest I’ve been to being a regular somewhere. They have our cards and address on file because we order (free) delivery nearly every week. I won’t order yellow curry with tofu anywhere else because no one can come close to how good it is at Bangkok’s. We love their spring (so fresh tasting even though fried!) and salad rolls, pad Thai (can make it without egg/vegan), pepper fried rice, eggplant dishes and basically everything else we’ve tried.
The food was so so sooo delicious! Fantastic flavors, a true gem of a place.
Bangkok City is some of the best Thai food I've ever eaten in the country! The fried rice is amazing. The kao soi is perfect. The pad Thai is great. The worst thing about eating here is that everything is good or better! Dallas is lucky to have such a wonderful option for Thai food.
