I went to Baby Back Shak today and ordered a 2 meat plate with ribs & brisket and 2 sides ( potato salad & beans. The only thing that tasted ok was the beans and brisket.The ribs had a funny taste to them and the potato salad had nothing in it but mustard and a lil season. It was horrible. I called to try to let them know about my plate and the guy was very rude and stated " What you want me to do about it know one else complained". I was so shocked to get that kind of response.....I didn't even want anything else I was just trying to let them know about my order.....The rudeness from the gentleman was unnecessary! I will never go back
First time here, it was really clean in waiting and dining area, but the ladies restroom was in terrible state. The toilet alone nearly made me loose my appetite. The food was good, they get busy so I would recommend you call ahead if in a rush.
The food was very good all the time ..now the Baked beans are very good a lot to spicy with the kind pepper if you could go light on the kind pepper the bings was the perfect yellow spikes it would be perfect that will spicy
Awesome one of a kind BBQ joint. Their smoked bologna, Dallas Round, was delicious new experience. Double meat loaded baked potatoes are always a good lunch choice. Shak beans are another favorite.
BEST BBQ EVER!!!! The person who taking our order was AMAZING! The food was delicious and came quickly too! I recommend anyone in the area who wants a quick and good BBQ to come Baby Back!
For a little BBQ spot black owned it's not too bad. I work near the place I go in on Thursday because he freshly barbecues and cook everything on Thursdays. I've only seen one woman working there she has a great personality she is very professional and friendly and she makes you want to come back. I really don't know what her position is but a lot of times when I go in she's working the cash register, but I think she does way more than that. She told me they've been in business for 26 years gave me a little history on the place great customer service. I got a two meat platter barbecue baked beans with ground beef in it and string beans with chicken in it then I got the brisket and some chicken.
The 5 meat sampler plate was the right choice to get familiar with the menu and it DID NOT disappoint. I didn't get my potato salad but the meal I did get was amazing
Quite simply the best bbq I've ever had. The ribs just melt in your mouth and the flavor is out of this world. Add to that the authentic atmosphere and super friendly staff and you've got yourself an experience that's impossible to top.
Food was delicious. I will return for some more BBQ. Close to my house and went there for my birthday. Very friendly service and good prices.
This is a no BS barbecue place. The food comes in styrofoam containers, but it's one of the more delicious barbecue places that I've been to. The baked potato is incredible.
