Worst place to eat ever!!! Poor customer service and management period!!! I'm not sure how they are still open for business. They messed up my order and had to wait for my food to be prepared even after ordering online and giving them extra time before picking up! When I called to order over the phone the lady hanged up the phone and told me to call when I know what I need. Was shorted one order and when I enquired I was told by the guy at the cashier I need to place another order. He didn't even want to listen to me. I'm even scared to eat the food because this type of service speaks volumes!!!!
Never been at a restaurant with this many incompetent staff. The place was nearly empty and they still couldn't display basic customer service skills or an ounce of intelligence. The workers need to be trained. They are not organized at all. Staff are incredibly rude and useless.I placed an order at 8:55, arrived at 9:40. At 10:20 they tell me they don't have what I ordered. The first time I was told they didn't have the order. 4 people spoke to me and I never got my order. I asked for a manager, some other weirdo came out and asked me, "is there a problem?" and told me to just contact doordash and cancel. Just come here if you don't care for service neither your money.
I don’t understand why this place has bad review. If you love African food then this is your place. We enjoyed every food we ordered. I will definitely will go back and enjoy my yummy Nigerian food. We love it! Thank you ?
DO NOT GO HERE!!! I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE! This place is a joke & it’s not even funny. This was first & certainly my LAST time coming here. I bought tickets to come see BRXN aka Buju the artist perform & he never showed up! Instead they had the Dj repeat over & over that he was on the way, when they knew he was not coming to that trashy place! The place is way too small, the food is not good, the people are rude, & beware of ROACHES PLEASE! I’m disgusted & outraged I wasted my time & money on such a place for nothing! THESE PEOPLE ARE FRAUDS! I had to give it a star but you guys deserve nothing in my opinion & however says they place is good, is a straight lair! RUN!
Don’t come to this restaurant unless you wanna wait over an hour for food that’s not even worth a 5 min wait. Real life idiots work there. And also they are unprofessional and don’t know how to run they’re restaurant. Again the only thing that is good is the catfish stew, everything else is actually nasty.Order my food over the phone over an hour and a half ago. Got there..it took 10 min for someone to even talk to me. And when they finally did, the let me know that my food was “on the queue” and that they haven’t even started making it. It took everything in me not to slap them.!!!Save yourself some stress. There’s other Nigerian restaurants in dallas that won’t waste your time. You’ve been warned !!!!
I placed an order at 12:55pm and was told the wait would be 20-25 mins for a takeout order. There were no updates for why the order was taking so long and the person who took the order was too busy flirting with another customer who walked in. At 1:40pm we just cancelled the order. There was no apology for the wait just a head nod acknowledging the cancellation. I can’t tell you if the food was great but I can tell you the service was horrible.
It was a horror they did not have much, ran out of foods I liked. The egusie soup was trash, goat meat was dry, they have bugs crawling as I finished my meal. I was unhappy it has gone down please don't waste your money 30.00 they are over priced. If I could give them 0 I would.I will never go back. So sad it was so nice 2 years ago. It starts with ownership on the tv nasty , filthy women dancing, jumping naked like a strip joint. Children with their mother father were there. The servers could only do so much. That cook needs to be fired, and they need to stop those bugs roaches have taken over, crawling all over my purse food.
This place is actually amazing. There are many events hosted here on a consistent basis and the food is amazing. I definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants to experience an authentic African cuisine, as well as for those that want to eat fantastic food and have a great time!
The food was exceptionally trash. Especially the egusi / yam porridge and stew, which I’ve tried at least 3 times each (hoping the next would be different.. Smfh!). Don’t waste your money?. Whoever makes the food deserves a vacation in the gallows, Istg! It should be a punishable offense to prepare food which tastes so awful.
So upsetting and you get less than what you paid for. Ordered vegetable with assorted meat. No meat at all, instead it was cow leg bone and stomach. I spent $65 here and this is what we get. I am so so unhappy and disappointed
