The cashier or hostess will not speak to you or welcome you in. They just want your money and then you sit. You pay before you eat. They have a lot of options but the place seems run down. Chairs are a bit sad. If you do hibachi you will have other ppls food in yours. The sushi is terrible but luckily none of it is raw because ppl would probably get sick.
Lower end buffet for the price. The food on the buffet is lukewarm, the booth seats leather are worn out and need to be replaced. I only ate here because my coworker paid. I will not be back. Did not finish my free meal.
Everything was great...1st time there but I'll definitely be back again
My kids wouldn’t touch the pizza or anything else except the oranges that you buy in a can.The noodles very dry,Sushi was not good at all,The chicken was alright easier to eat but the Asian style like the orange chicken was really nasty,We then asked for a refund and they told my wife that we are liars that we left the premises but we never left. They checked cameras to see that our story matched all for $46.All I’m saying do not come here food is awful and if you want your money back expect to be called a liar and put up with a fight.Oh and their was no manager to help us just employees! Will not be coming back for sure!
Very 1st time eating here! It's the cleanest buffet I've ever been to. Kids are NOT ALLOWED to go up and serve themselves! Some of the food was a little cold but what I wanted was not cold at all. Will be returning...
Slightly better than average Asian buffet. Old and tired seating. Food selection was typical Asian items, items could have been better identified, lots of breaded items. Soups were decent, chicken dishes had lots of poorly trimmed chicken (bone and gristle) minimal pork and beef dishes. Sushi was nice touch. Fresh grill available. Reasonable price.
Asian Star Buffet gets 4 out of 5 stars only because of the cleanliness of my table. When I sat down, I noticed the table needed wiping down. I tried to flag down my waiter to get him to see to it but he was busy with others. I finally just wiped it myself using napkins from the dispenser on the table. The food quality was outstanding and the choices plentiful. It was Sunday, around 12:30 PM when my friend and I dined in so I can forgive the less-than-spotless table. What is unforgivable is the impersonal service received here today. My friend had to ask twice for a water refill and the aforementioned lack of attention to sanitation makes this visit less than stellar. It is after all the Asian(one) Star Buffet.
It was just bad. They make you pay up front which should have been a red flag. I didn’t have a single thing that wasn’t stale or just cheep tasting. We also never saw a waiter after they brought the first drink. It didn’t look dirty or anything and I don’t feel sick so I’m giving it two stars for that. There are much better places (King buffet) for the same price with better selection and service.
This place seems to be fully booked now. Food was hot and service was great. It seems like they don't take as many precautions anymore but if that doesn't bother you then this place is a must!
Servers were nice but the food was awful. My son didn't even like the mac n cheese and you know how kids love mac n cheese lol. I love to eat but I didn't like anything but the fish, fries, and rolls from the ENTIRE buffet. Seafood was awful and even the fruit!
