Had an amazing date night here. The service was fantastic, everyone was very helpful and courteous. The cocktails were inspired and different. All the dishes were full of flavor and a great spin on Indian fare.
Brunch on Saturday was not crowded. The restaurant was uniquely decorated and very chic. Loved loved loved the masala chicken and egg dish. I lived in India for a few years and it tasted very closed to butter chicken. Yum! My husband got the waffle and fries which he raved about. And the cocktails were very good. Highly recommend going here for brunch.
Beautiful brunch location in a great area, but leave the kids at home! This place is adorable and has plenty of photo opps, but we brought along my friend's 2 month old and it was a little awkward. I'll start with the good: The food!! The Tikka Benedict and Aloo Chole were amazing! I would seriously eat here every day. And like I said before, the decor is great. The OK: my mimosa was just ok. The not great: Strollers aren't allowed (it's not very big, so I get that) and the host seemed pretty annoyed that we had a baby. It was right when it opened and there were only about 4 other tables seated, so it really was no problem at all to others. We had to put the carseat on the bench, and there is nowhere to change a baby so I would recommend definitely getting a sitter before your visit... but you should still visit, it's delicious!
The food was really good, definitely not the usual Indian restaurant fare. The Annari Chicken was a little dry, but still flavorful. The Lamb Vindaloo and the black Daal where amazing. Really loved the Naan Puffs as well. The food here is delicious and definitely different. It is Indian food elevated, and everyone in our party loved it.The tables are a little too close together, and we really didn't have much space to sit comfortably. The waiters had to keep squeezing in between tables to clear away empty dishes. It was also hard to have a conversation because the people at the next table were so loud. These aspects did diminish the atmosphere, which are the reasons I wouldn't give Amé a perfect score.
Took a little while to get a drink at the bar but that’s because the bartender was tending to a full bar and the well drinks for the restaurant! My Bambina had the Stonefuit Daisy & I had the Massala Sour! Both drinks were phenomenal!
Fantastic, from the calamari and cocktails, to the main curries. We asked for it spicy, and they delivered (not for the faint of heart). The service was top and the atmosphere was great. We’ll definitely be back. They’re particularly good at seafood, the calamari was so good, and whatever combination of marinade and roasting they did with the shrimp was flavor heaven.

Neat restaurant that prepares Indian food using French techniques. Finally made it after months of wanting to.The ambience is very French, calm and inviting. The place is very intimate, probably can seat 45 or so in the main restaurant, and 15 or so in the bar area. The food is divine. For starters we ordered the Aloo Tikki. They “deconstructed” the Aloo Tikki into 4 evenly shaped balls. Even though the Aloo balls were fried, they seemed extremely crisp and had a dollop of cream right in the center. And the accompanying sauce was divine. For dinner we had Crispy Aloo Gobi, Masala baked eggplant t, naan puffs and croissant parathas. The Aloo Gobi came in the form of two cakes, smothered in sauce. The Gobi was crisp and well done. The eggplant dish was sublime - it was eggplant and potatoes baked in a cast iron skillet. The eggplant was cooked with some spices, but the flavor of the vegetable was not lost. Both of the bread selections were great, with the paratha being my favorite. For dessert we had the Lavender Malai which really was a lovely icing on our magnificent meal. The service was exemplary and I’m sure the meat dishes were superb. Make sure you make a reservation. Parking can be tricky during busy hours, but there are valet optionsI’ll be back ready to try other amazing offerings at this fine establishment!
It was a great first experience at Ame. The food is exceptional and so is the service. The manager, Jeremiah made our anniversary celebration extra special. If you’re in Dallas and are looking for a good India cuisine, this is the place to go to. The beet samosa, lamb rolls and lavender rabdi were bomb. The ambience and the wine/drinks selection was great. We would definitely go back. You will not be disappointed!
Their new brunch offering shows a lot of promise. Great flavors. Bright atmosphere. Two cons were that our mixed drinks arrived after the entrees, and they also didn’t offer espresso. I think if those both were fixed, this would be a fantastic spot. 5 stars because they’re working really hard while understaffed.
