Customer Service is terrible. they will not give you an early check in and they don't honor the online check-in from the email they send you! Absolutely ridiculous. Never again!!

The Aloft is a shared building with the Element, great location, very close to the Airport and with great front desk staff, I was surprised to see the shuttle driver doubling as a maintenance person because the lack of personal, which is common these days with people not wanting to work. Expect to have issues with cleaning and maid service because there’s nobody available, you’ll get service on the third day if you are staying that long. The room was just okay, nothing special really and some reviewers complained about the lack of controls for the AC unit and cold rooms but mine was the opposite I had a thermostat but the unit stopped cooling at 65 degrees “allegedly”and the starting and stopping would wake me up, really annoying.

Stayed here for an overnight connection at nearby Love Field. Great location with regards to the airport. I had an early, 6am flight, so staying nearby was nice. Room itself was fine. I typically like the Aloft brand and the rooms, this one was no exception. I had been traveling quite frequently at this point (all Marriott) and this hotel was one of the better when it came to an AC that actually worked... Dallas was in the upper 90s/low 100s so that helped! Good places to eat nearby - I walked over to Chipotle for dinner. Staff at checkin not friendly nor really nor really helpful though. had an issue with the phone in my room and wanted a wake up call to back up my cell phone alarm and the staff was not helpful.. Same person was there at checkout the next morning and not really friendly nor helpful again. I would stay here again though if the price were decent and I was needing to be near Love Field. If you don't need that convenience (like the airport shuttle) maybe look @ staying someplace else.

great people and good vibes ?

I stayed at Aloft Lovefield hotel recently. I had a good stay as room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Bed was very comfy and cozy and one can have a comfortable sleep.Bathroom was well lit and shower was amazing.Free tea and coffee in room is good. Free water bottles provided from the check in counter. Small fridge is there. There are couple of things I would like to point out for people who rely heavily on reviews when they book their hotel.I stayed at Aloft for 4 nights. No room cleaning happened during my entire stay though they advertised that room will be cleaned after 3 days. No bed was made, no garbage was picked up and no towels were replaced. You can get fresh towels, extra water bottles by yourself from the check in desk and they are happy to oblige. But it is little uncomfortable to stay in a room with a full trash cans.I understand if bed was not made daily due to environmental reasons but I appreciate if garbage was picked up daily and towels were replaced.Another problem was the air conditioning unit. There was no controls there to regulate it. It can't be adjusted to suit your needs. At night room got so cold that it was hard to sleep though bed was very comfy. In most hotels the a/c unit is not strong enough but in this one the room was freezing and no controls/switch to lower the air conditioner blow or to switch it off!It is nice to come back to your hotel room end of the day which looks little refreshed but I didn't have this experience here.I stayed in a lot better hotels than this one.

My wife and I reserved a room at this hotel months in advance so that we could stay here on our wedding night, to catch our flight to the honeymoon very early the next morning. When we arrived, we were informed very rudely by the staff that they had overbooked and had given away our room. The service was poor, and the hotel seems to be unable to honor a reservation. Don’t book here.

My stay wasn’t great. I had a long day because my flight got canceled and a rebooked flight meant I needed to change airports from DFW to DAL at Love Field. What was already a frustrating day was made even worse by the Aloft/Element Hotels!First, the wait for check in was incredibly long. I was there waiting for about 20 or so minutes. Two concierge personnel manning one computer (even though there were two available check in computers at two separate desks). I wasn’t even given any attention or told to wait at all.Once I got to my room, yeah sure the room is nice, but the set up is definitely not what I had requested for via my Marriott Bonvoy reservation. The view of the room was wrong, the location (I wanted away from elevator) was wrong, and the specifications I asked for were not there (memory foam pillows and extra towels/toiletries).Finally, there is a lack of communication. When you message them or call them, you don’t get any sort of response. The walls are paper thin, you can hear what your neighbors are doing. My neighbor was gaming really loudly and was just shouting and banging the table for the entire evening!I was very disappointed.Recommendation: BE CAUTIOUS WHEN BOOKING HERE!

This is a location, location location hotel. This hotel is super close to DAL airport. Check in went great, friendly staff. However, room cleanliness needs improvement- dirty carpets and tv was dirty. Room in general was pleasing, comfortable bed and amenities.

I typically like staying at Aloft because we road trip with our dog but this location is poorly managed and was an annoying let down. We tried to check in around 1:30 (90 minutes early) and we’re strung along saying our room was “almost ready” until 3:30. Front desk blamed it on cleaning crew being out to lunch and not updating which rooms were cleaned. They say they’re dog friendly but didn’t have anywhere on their property to take the dog for beyond the parking lot so you go into a vacant field next door. Parking lot and spaces are too small. There aren’t many amenities nearby. The room was fine but I would have appreciated a teeny apology or acknowledgement for being checked in 30 minutes after the standard promised time. Seemed like some other guests weren’t getting the rooms they actually booked and were having trouble too

Stayed at Element which is in same building at Aloft. Erik at the front desk was great. Professional and willing to assist. The hotel appeared to be well maintained and rooms were clean. The reason I didn't give it five stars was because of the shuttle driver. We were told to be at shuttle at least ten minutes prior because it leaves exactly on the half hour. We were down but no shuttle driver. At two minutes past deadline I observed front desk person run to the back. A couple minutes later the driver comes out like he has all day. We were just about 15 minutes late leaving the hotel once bags and people were loaded.
