They changed the price of the tilapia from $13 to $20. I'm not a fan of tilapia but this is the only place I'll eat tilapia from. But due to the recent 50% price increase I will not be going back. I understand inflation happens but to go up over 50%(7$) the original price in one price hike is ridiculous!!! If I spend $20 on fish I would prefer a better fish like snapper or catfish. Tilapia is not worth $20

I have never had any problem at this restaurant before but today was just terrible. We ordered two fish and plantains and Ms Aggie was actually the one that served us. She told us the plantains were sweet and soft. Imagine to our surprise, when reaching home to find out the plantains were cold, oily and old; basically refried like after being out after a long day. It tasted bad. The fish was rotten, cold and smelled awful. After calling the restaurant, they tried to justify it by saying that it was the place that sold them bad fish. Aahhh, so because of that you want to poison your customers stomachs? You mean to tell me you couldn’t smell how bad the fish were while cleaning them? I don’t think I will be going back there anytime soon or at all. Something is seriously wrong as I am not the first person to complain about this. Customers beware and check your food before you leave!!!! Better yet smell it!!!First picture is the rotten smelly fish and the old plantains. Second picture is the good plantain( that’s how your order should look like always)

Went there Saturday the egusi soup was ice cold. Like felt like they got it out the freezer. Definitely will be contacting the health department today. This is wrong on all type of levels to serve ice cold food. Something definitely needs to be done. I’m up waitI got on the health department to open now. I waisted my money and time here. Not sure if the owner is aware her food use to be good 2010 that’s how long it’s been since Iv been there but coming back was not a good idea. I figured since I moved back to the area I’d stop by but no ma’am something is not right at this restaurant.

I had food taken out from here for the first time today. The young man that took the order was pleasant as well as the preparers I had 2 orders of the fish soup with goat and beef with a side of spinach. It was soooooo delicious with the exception of the soup being a little too oily so I had to remove a lot of the oil off of it. The Fufu was awesome. Everything was so fresh and totally spiced up and tasty ?. Will be a frequent customer

do not go to this resturant they has crime and bad activity and there is black man in a blue and red cap. that had stolen my phone he has been stalking me at richland college if you see him at the college or this place call police. He has been harrassing me since last year.

I traveled almost an hour to get here only because Salt and Pepper was closed. I definitely won’t be back. It was a waste of time, money, and gas. First I wanted jollof rice but they didn’t have any. Ok fine, let me just get the egusi soup WITHOUT ANY MEAT! She repeated it back to me to make sure “no meat” is what I said. I told her that’s correct. Not even five minutes later they told me my order was ready. Only to get all the way home and see that it’s loaded with meat. I decided to just deal with it and remove all the meat. Now I’m no expert on African cuisine but this was by for the worst Egusi I had ever eaten, AND SEEN. It didn’t even look appetizing, but I still tried to eat it. I took a few bites and decided I just couldn’t do it. It wasn’t good at all. It was the most bland African dish I had ever tried. Maybe they ran out of spices idk. And I also ordered plantains that I thought I was going to eat in the car on the way home. WRONG! They too were not edible. Old and dried out. Literally was only able to take one bite. I really hate I had to write this review because the older guy behind the bar was actually pretty nice. But yeah, that was my first (and last) experience at Aggies.

The quality of the food is really gone down, and please check your food before you walk away from the counter because they gave me some burnt fish and plantains and the plantains be cold from them sitting over the fryers.. Their food used to be so fresh when I first started going there but now it's really bad.

great food, and was impressed by the service and staff. I am new to African food but found it very tasty. Great great location will be back with family and friends

I’ve been going to Aggies for yrs, but this new girl with the short hair they hired has a horrible attitude. The food also does not taste as good since she has been in the kitchen the fish is always burnt..

I used to get edikang ikong but now who ever is cooking is just loading it with pepe ,its notedible,I had to trash it. How can u put someone in the kitchen who know nothing about African food.
