We met our girlfriend Sybil here. She had taken the liberty of ordering a lot of appetizers. So when arrived they kept bringing food. If I tell you the table got full fast. We all enjoyed every bite. They have delicious food here and everything was fresh. I will be going back when I have a taste for sushi.

This place is wonderful! The atmosphere and food is great and they have a great happy hour! Staff is very friendly! Seem to be a little understaffed but they seem to be trying hard even dealing with a few rude and aggressive customers. Can you believe they shoved their food in the staffs face?! Couldn't be me! Overall this place is awesome. My favorite was the daddy food roll! Definitely recommend 10/10.
The female manager of this restaurant is very unprofessional or can even say RUDE dealing the issues with the customers. First of all, this restaurant doesn't provide Kids-friendly meals on the menu. Secondly, the little boy is allergic to some spices which are hard for the parents to tell especially from Asian Cuisines. We had to buy him outside food, like several times before at this same restaurant. When the manager was asked to communicate with the customers, she didn't want to hear us out with her rude and elegant attitude. We decided to respect their rule and put the outside food under the table and continued to order the foods and hoped the little boy would be okay. But, after we saw the people eating and drinking at the entrance table with some outside drinks and foods, the first reaction of course was that they have double standards: why could that table have outside food and drinks, we couldn't? How could the customers know who they were as they didn't wear any uniforms. That's why we asked the question to that manager when we saw her around. The customers don't have rights to ask questions at this restaurant?! Having a question was wrong in that Manager's eyes! She might feel that she was challenged. Our table already settled down ready to drink and eat after ordering. Suddenly that female manager walked back to us driving us to leave rudely. It was the first time seeing the manager dealing with a situation like this. We can't raise questions to them? Especially to that manager??She can't be questioned?! Very unprofessional of that manager! She was like a baby, suddenly walked back to us and threw a tantrum to us. Ridiculous!
Amazing atmosphere and staff! Their happy hour is unrivaled as it is incredibly delicious at an affordable price! They are understaffed currently because of Covid-19 but who isn’t? Overall, excellent!
First off, 10+ stars for our server, Jennifer!! She really impressed me with her knowledge of the menu and gladly answered our questions. There are plenty of food choices if you don't want sushi. They consistently provide great service and freshly prepared food. Their Japanese fried rice is always good. Large portion, hot and fresh! Nice modern dining area and bar. Always clean and organized. I definitely recommend Top sushi.
I’ve been waiting 38 minutes (I am still timing it) to be acknowledged by the bar tender to get my check. The entire time she’s been shy with me and not friendly at all. I’ve been patiently waiting for my check. I have had my card out for the 38 minutes and still counting for her to bring it to me. Awful service great food.
Have always loved this Top Sushi location!
By far worst sushi restaurant in Houston. Speed of service was ridiculously slow. Waited over 30 minutes for a cocktail, this is outrageous service from the bar. At end of the meal, one of the entrees wasn't served due to long delay. Over all food presentation and quality was below average. Most despicable fact out of this experience is that we weren't even serve with plates! should we eat off the table? I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone to waste their money. Don't let pictures of fancy lights and atmosphere mislead the quality of food and service.
This is a hidden gem. I can't believe I didn't know if was so close to home. Food is excellent. It's fancier I side than if looks outside. Don't be fooled into thinking it's regular sushi. You need to know your sushi ?
