It just isn't good. The enchiladas are dry & meat overcooked, their chilequiles were soggy, the queso is blah. I've given this location multiple chances but no luck. Mi Tierra is ~1 mile away & so much better.
Based on my experience, Friday, May 6, 2022 and on other reviews, this place just is not consistent with good service or food. Our waiter was nice but I felt the food was only adequate and the service was ok but the staff seemed more concerned with socializing with each other than checking on the few clients they had. I haven't been to this restaurant in a few years before that and that night reminded me why. Guess I should have even figured out this wasn't the best place since the restaurant was nearly empty at 8 p.m. on a Friday evening. Though this is not the worst place, I don't see any reason to come back when there are other locations that are much better.
Worst service ever. 45 minutes and no food. Hey I understand sometimes short staffed. But what made this worse is two tables all adults who got there after me 10 minutes not exaggerating who complained about the food being late. Got there food before me. And mind you all adults I had my son who's 12 yo w/me. Kids should be priority. But nope they didn't care. Offered to pay for my sons chocolate milk the said no that's ok. Right way to handle that was hey here's your sons food at least on the house. But nope nothing! Had to leave because my daughter had to be picked up from cheer. Terrible terrible experience.
Food and service was good. My family loves this place. We eat here a few times a month.
We love coming here for taco and just good tex mex food. It's reasonably priced and their food is good. We tend to order the same things, which we love: crunchy beef tacos, taquitos (chicken & beef fajita), pastor tacos, breakfast tacos, enchiladas and their guacamole. The only thing I'm not a fan of is their queso. It's very blah. It's also why I don't care for their nachos due to the melted cheese/queso not being very appetizing. Other than that, their food is great, good prices, great margaritas and good beer selection.
Give them a C for good effort. The Chilaqiles were good. A bit more cheese in top than i would prefer. Next time I’ll say light on the cheese. Other than, very flavorful and still hot when it was delivered
Wife and I ate here only one time. Food was pricey for what we got and very bland. Like, not even salt and pepper when they cooked the meats. The feel we got was that no one wanted to be there. Haven't been back since.
This is what we get for trying to support local. So unjust and unreasonable? $8.99 for a 32 oz. OJ. Meal was delicious until we got hit with that $9 OJ Lesson Learned...
January 22,2022 The food here Is always great,I ordered two quesadilla de pechuga and 8 fajita tacos the total was 51.29. I got 1 quesadilla and 8 tacos but I didn't realize till I got to work! And I couldn't go back, I called 4 times and no one answered. Buy the lady that attended me was unprofessional and rude. I've never had a problem. Here till today. I'd like to get my other quesadilla since I paid for it and never got it!!
great food excellent service waitress was was awesome
