Hmmm. Not sure if I just ordered the items that were not in line with the rave reviews. Ordered the spring rolls: nicely presented but the wrap was sticky and chewy with the inside strangely astringent. The peanut sauce was heaven. The chicken pho noodles and broth were yummy but the chicken was tasteless and seemed as if it was cooked separately from the broth. I would not return here, left very dissatisfied with a slight stomach ache. Left most of the food to be discarded. Wait staff was quite but friendly.
I used to be a regular at this place. I would visit once or twice a week even though the price was on the high side and it is quite far from where I live but the food was worth the price and the commute. My last 2 visits however, may have changed that perspective. They were short staffed, service was slow and the pho came out lukewarm at best. Once the vegetables were added, it felt like I was eating noodle soup that has been sitting out for half an hour and the noodle has swollen up due to it having soaked up the soup for too long, gross. To top off the already poor food and experience, we went to pay and was charged more than the menu price. I asked about it and was told that the price has gone up 15% from the already higher than average price on the menu. I mentioned the soup not being hot and was told that maybe I added too much vegetables. That's like being told that I did not eat fast enough when being served half melted ice cream. If I am going to be paying $12-13 for a bowl of soup, I would expect better food quality and much better service. You can keep making the same excuse of being short staffed for so long but the customers should not have to suffer for the lack of urgency in making sure the business is properly staffed.Would most likely not be coming back.
Peanut saice is good. Spring roll comes with pork and shrimp. Quite the combo. Very good.
Me and my mom went here today. We both had Phu. We both really liked it because the waiter was really nice and quick with our orders. Me and my mom love to go here and would definitely come again. Great place
Dear Reader,If you are reading this, you are thinking about trying this place. Please don’t hesitate. This place is good! REAL GOOD! It’s kind of tucked away but has some delicious food, cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff. I was impressed with the food. Everything we tasted was fantastic and fairly priced! Please give this place a try, you won’t regret it!
Mr. Pho is so absolutely delicious! We have tried pho through the entire cypress area and this is by far our favorite and the only place we go. The staff is also very kind and service is always great.
The food was average at best. Soda is not fountain as they brought us cans. Our main complaint here is the price. The price charged was different from the menu they have. My family was charged 69.82 for 2 small soups, 2 large soups, 1 order of egg roll and 1 order of spring rolls. I paid at the register after they failed to provide a bill at the table. After 20% tip the bill was over $85. They charged a service charge just to pay by debit card. This place is shady at best and they're ripping people off to keep afloat. I asked for a to go menu on the way out the door in order to compare prices. Guy hands it to me and immediately says the "prices on to go are different" even without me asking. Never returning.
Good little pho spot in Cypress area with a good selection of items. The pho broth and brisket were great.
Very delicious. Probably the best pho I've had in Cypress so far. And the kids portion was suitable for both my toddlers to share. I will return
The food was excellent, and the place is easily as nice inside as any fancy japanese restaurant I've been to, but most importantly, the service was lightning fast. Within 5 minutes of entering the place my wife had her grilled pork and I had my bowl of pho.Give this place a shot, it more than deserves it.
