Rude employees, out of primary ingredients (peanut butter cups) will not let you taste odd ice cream flavors before making overpriced desserts. Spend your money somewhere else.
First ice-cream store I saw that doesn’t let you taste the flavor before you buy it.
We've been to many other marble slabs and they never put a limit on the amount of topping we could get like this place did. And we weren't allowed any taste samples. Not coming to this place anymore ??♂️.
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE!!!! My husband and I went in to get an ice cream today and we have been there many times before. Today there was a indian lady with glasses who came to take our order. She took mine and I let her know I wanted no toppings. So now it's was my husband's turn and she gave him a plain ice cream. So he looked at it and he said oh I wanted the cereal ice cream. And she said WHAT? I responded and said he wanted the cereal ice cream. So she replied very rudely and said: GIVE IT BACK TO ME BECAUSE YOU TOLD ME YOU DIDN'T WANT ANY TOPPINGS. What person argues with or talks to a customer crazy about toppings??? I told her ma'am please you can keep his ice cream and take mine back. And she refused to take it back, rather than say she is sorry for misunderstanding him or say I'm sorry I will fix that for you, she continued to try to argue and say he didn't tell her that. So I had to repeat like ma'am please take this back because I refuse to give money to pay her salary. SHe finally took the ice cream and we left. LOST A REPEATED CUSTOMER NEVER AGAIN. She is rude and miserable.
No good costumer...
My sister bought an electronic gift card for me from Marble Slab's web site for my birthday. It was worth $100! She wanted me to buy a birthday cake with it and still have plenty left for many ice cream dates for the rest of the year. It came via email from Marble Slab with a pdf attachment to print out. The print-out had the amount, a bar code, the card number, and a PIN. I used it at this location in July for a birthday cake with no problem. The following week I used the same print-out gift card for brownies at this location with no problem. I now had a $57.70 balance left to use. Our kids were visiting yesterday, so we all walked up to Marble Slab for dessert since I had so much money left on my card. The woman at the register did not know how to enter the information on the print-out and kept getting an error. She became very unreasonable, defensive, and accusatory. She gestured to the other customers and said, "Look! It's closing time! I don't need this! Just pay what you owe!" I've never been treated so unprofessionally and dishonestly from a food establishment in my life. I even apologized to the woman, saying I know it's stressful for her that she was getting an error, but the problem must be their system because my gift card was definitely legit. She insisted it was just a piece of paper we printed at home and if we wanted to use a gift card, we had to buy a real one, and she pointed to the plastic ones for sale. She called someone on the phone who seemed to back up what she was saying. In the end, I asked if she would write down the amount we owe and we would come back when a manager was in. She did, and said to come in tomorrow. So my husband went back in today and asked to speak to a manager. The same woman came out! Is she the manager? She had no idea how to enter a gift card! Even suggesting I try to scan the barcode on my print-out on the credit card machine! She called someone on the phone again and handed the phone to my husband. The woman on the phone laughed and scoffed at my husband telling him that their system had changed in the few weeks since our last visit and we needed to pay the amount owed with a different method. So he did, though he was not happy. It's not the $20 we had to pay, it's the fact that my sister paid $100 to Marble Slab and we only got 42.30 worth of product in return. And also that they never apologized for THEIR ineptness and rudeness in front of a store full of customers, and made us feel like we were trying to cheat them. Never again. Is this new management? Such a shame. Our old favorite ice cream place will be out of business within a year's time if this is how they operate. P.S. The younger kids who were working there were great.
Cookie cake was good but ordered 2 days ahead and they were late delivering it by almost 45 minutes.
We love this place. The employees are very nice and their ice cream really good...
Epic. Also how do so many people know what cleaning solution tastes like?
Who doesn't love Marble Slab?!? Delicious!
