I’ve been getting gongcha for years, the same drink as well. Never has it ever been this disgusting. I got the brown sugar milk tea with boba. It was severely watered down and tasted like Splenda was in it, and the boba was unflavored and mushy. I explained to the cashier I wanted something different after getting ONE sip, and she told me no because I opened it. How are you gonna know the drink is gross if you don’t try it? She told me I had to pay HALF of a new drink. It’s not my fault you made it bad? Then she remade it, it was still nasty but I had given up. I will never return to gongcha at any location if that’s their policy. I’ve never had an issue till now and I’m severely disappointed. I shouldn’t pay for your employees mistake.
I usually come here every weekend with my friends and they haven’t disappointed me. This is the cleanest boba store in town that I have seen with high quality drink, and good service.
I had a very good experience at Gongcha Cypress. For me, this Gongcha store is the best in Houston, TX. The store is clean and organized. The employees are well-trained and nice to customers. I have nothing to say about the Dirty brown sugar milk tea. It's fantastic. The milk foam is creamy, plus the sweetness of the brown sugar around the cup, make the drink beautiful and tasty like never before. This store changed my opinion about Gongcha. If you're thirsty and sad about something; let's grab a Dirty brown sugar milk tea at this store, you will feel happy and refreshed.
We like hanging out here and enjoy their drinks. Their waffles are so tasty as well. And y'all be have to check out their bathroom, it's so beautiful!
Tania Alenchery 1/31/21I loved Gong Cha! It is a great place for students to study and eat. Gong Cha not only has great food and drinks but also has great decor and service. Gong Cha is set up beautifully with appealing decorations and art. It also has great lighting which is a necessity for a study spot. Gong Cha has numerous options for beverages with several flavors as well as also serving dessert. Finally, Gong Cha has helpful and fast service which makes for an enjoyable experience.
Very disappointed. They can’t charge the premium they do with such terrible results. If picking a boba tea place choose another establishment. It’s bound to be better.
I have given this location a couple of tries and have been disappointed each time. They do not understand that they need to add more milk foam because it is barely visible in the drinks. When I asked if there was any milk foam added, one of the workers stated that it was already in there and just continued to go about her business. The creme brûlée also needed to be caramelized to a lot more.
Great service. Loved the drinks.
