I go all the time. I get the fish and shrimp. Don’t care for their chicken though. I’m picky. I like flavor all the way down, not just good flavored batter!For me, Church’s I’d king around here. As cheap as it is, it’s my fav. I go to Frenchy’s for their BOMB French fries and fish or shrimp (which are overpriced).Note: I do not like any of their sides or desserts.
Omg horrible!!! Who eats this mess? Seriously! Everything was wrong! The dirty rice stinks!! The mashed potatoes were so nasty! The chicken was dry & not in a strip form I don’t know what that was! NEVER AGAIN! Gross! I want my $12 back! I’m so mad!
First timer, wanted to try the chicken but saw the three-piece fish dinner and tried that with a side of red beans, instead, which came with a roll and tartar sauce. Not bad at all! I forgot to ask what kind of fish it was but they're large so I guess it's catfish. I also ordered three boudin balls. The red beans and the tartar sauce were pretty plain however the fish and the boudin balls were fried perfectly in cornmeal-breaded goodness so now I have to come back and try the chicken even though it appears to have a thin coating of breading on it instead of a thick crunchy braiding like other places. Did not check the bathrooms.
Everytime I go to Frenchy's I've never been disappointed. Their customer service they provide is very professional, organized, and welcomes you with open arms. The food is always awesome and the Manager Ms. Lisa always makes sure that my order is right and that I'm leaving out with a smile on my face and satisfied, which have me coming constantly out the week, but good job guys and keep up the good work and just keep serving that great chicken!
4/25/2022 went to frenchy chicken on Barker cypress around 1:20pm. I ask the person taking my order was the chicken fresh she said yes about 10 minutes. I get home the chicken is awful, I call back and speak to the mgr named Lisa very untrained. She asked me want did I want her to do. I told her to refund me my money. She said bring the food back we had already put it in the trash. She suppose to know that you don't receive any thing back through the window. I told her refund part she said they would remake it. I told her I will not drive back 20 minutes for another order, I stated you got 19.67 today don't worry no more. It needs to be looked into the preparation of the food. It is taking the name Frenchy down from as we know it.
Poor service ordered at 850p at 922 still waiting in drive thru for food called because doors were locked to go inside and girl that answered said we were waiting on chicken asked her why weren't we told she just passed phone to another when I asked if she was the manager she said one of them and put me on hold 10min later guys comes out with food but order was incomplete tried calling back but ph was busy because Manger never hung up line . I hung up when food came . Needless to say order was incomplete and we drove off
I'm disappointed for the fact I'm from out of town they shoulda got my order right. Accuracy is not their strong point & needs to improve on the season & timing of the chicken skin was to hard. Kool Aid too sweet enough to give a diabetic a sugar rush. No japeno pepper in none of my orders so false advertising is not good for business. Overall they need to work on a few things until I'll be spending my money elsewhere.
The collar ? had no taste, & what soul food spot has no hot sauce! I asked could I have my chicken fresh & the cashier said it’s only been up 20 min. “Me okay”
The food quality is good, but the kid who took our order didn't include any sauces though we asked specifically for them.We asked for mixed dark/white meat, they gave us 2 wings and 2 thighs for the 4pc meals, and only 2 wings only for the 2pc meal, if it wasn't for the good quality chicken I'd give it 1 star. I will be willing to try a different branch, but last time for this one. Here is the 2 pc meal in the pic.
Food is always fresh and hot. Employees are always friendly and hard working. Only complaint is the price but I can deal with that when everything else is great ??
