The folks giving bad reviews must be black. Black people — especially black women — are never satisfied with anyone’s seasoned food outside of their own families. Which helps explain the obesity problem that’s prevalent in our community.I’ve ordered from this place for nearly 10 years (if they’ve been open that long) and to this very moment I logged on to get volume catfish prices from their website (to my surprise they DON’T have a decent website). Even my son, daughter and nephew — all black, btw — absolutely LOVE this place!........................EDIT: Ordered last night around 8 and picked up the order around 8:30. They must have used the same oil/grease from that morning. Even the hush puppies were dark and hard. Look at this pic! That’s “supposed” to be brown chicken tenders and hush puppies. The catfish that I ate didn’t taste anything like the way I remember it. So, you can addd me to the list of complaints.

I would give it a 5 Star, but I Had HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BY A WORKER THERE NAME John. He is very Arrogant! He talks like he knows everything and does not even greet you when you come in just stands there looking at you waiting for you to order. Very Cocky Dude. Seems like he doesn't like his job and he was really happy when his shift was over. John needs More customer Service skills. Besides John ruining my experience the Food was Great! I will go back again, but if John is there I will Leave and take my Business else Where

I was on Uber eats and couldn’t choose between pasta and sushi, this place has pasta and fried shrimp rice so it’s close enough! Very delicious and very affordable/ I can’t justify spending $25 on pasta like other places charge. Tastes great!!

Great food, catfish(3 large pieces) fried okra and hush puppies. The price was fantastic! Nice lady at the counter. Will definitely go again.

Young girl at register had no respect nor knowledge of menu and was not a "people person". Fried rice was not fried, just white rice tossed in soy sauce. Shrimp po boy was just ok. Alfredo noodles were watered down and barely tasted like Alfredo. Hot wings use petes Hot sauce instead of Frank's. Fries were ok cause they're frozen. Offer only 2 types of fish ,catfish n tilapia, so you know it's frozen ! I do not recommend this place unless you're trying to cut corners like they do.

We ordered a ton of fried items. Our catfish was done perfectly. The family loved the fried okra. The coleslaw was a mayo based coleslaw that the wife said was superb.

I would love to give Fish & Chicks 3 1/2 ?, but there are no half stars. The location is convenient. The restaurant is nice and clean. The parking is easy and plentiful. The prices are average. The lady when I called in was really helpful. The red beans and rice were really good. The gumbo was delicious and full of shrimp, chicken, and cut up saugsage however the roux was light in color. The thickness was perfect, the flavor was good. I would order both the red beans and rice, gumbo again. The Shrimp Fried Rice was average at best. The fish was decent and the fried shrimp must've been pre battered for days, they were hard and not edible. So in a pinch, we would eat some of their items. Thanks for having us.

This lady at the counter pulled down her face mask and was digging in her nose. She was checking each order as they were ready. I told her did not touch my food I saw you picking at your nose. I will not be going back there anymore. This was 4 days ago.

Their bowls are really nice and filling! The Firecracker Chicken Bowl with an egg roll and dumplings are my go-to! I like to ask them to go light on the sauce.

Oh no ma’am. Somebody dropping fake reviews because it did not give what it was supposed to had gave.I ordered Catfish w/ a side of gumbo, and 10 wings. Now to my surprise, the gumbo featured diced hot dogs and tasted really bland. No seasoning and definitely no seafood in it. This is Houston, and they couldn’t find one cook from Louisiana to consult with? The catfish was crunchy and not meaty. I was able to crack it apart and salvage some parts with the tartar sauce. The wings were decent however. Small, but I understand supply chain issues. The Korean Spicy sauce was great though.
