We chose to visit in celebration for Father’s Day, and despite of the holiday it wasn’t overly crowded and service was on point, no issues. Food was served hot, fresh, and delicious as always. Tortillas were freshly made. However, the chips were not freshly served warm. Wonderful atmosphere, really gives you a feeling of being in a Mexican ambience. Always a good relaxing experience.
In fairness ee haven't been in a bit, we decided to go this past Monday evening, because they have a great atmosphere and we expected it to not be too busy. We were supremely disappointed they had changed their salsa recipe from where it used to have a bit more chunkiness to it, it was more like just red sauce. The waiter was hustling and I will give them credit for that, however given the many choices in Mexican food, it will probably be a lot longer before we go back, we got the build your own plate, and we should have gotten the fajitas, I will leave it at that.
Best molcajete bowl to split between 4 people! My family and I drive just to eat this entree and we can't seem to find it at any other restaurant. The service is always great and the margaritas are too. Only downside is it is very loud and hard to hear when eating inside when there's a lot of people as it echoes in the restaurant.
Amazing amazing food here! I recently moved to the Cypress/Hockley area and I love stopping at Alicia's for dinner the food is so good. The people are very friendly and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. I've had the Chipotle Chicken it's amazing!!! A dish i love to rave about to friends and family.
We arrived for lunch at 12 with maybe 5 tables seated. It finally filled to less than half. One person had baked a cake for us. They wanted $1.50 for every person. I asked the manager to reconsider. He would not. I've been to restaurants all over town without this. So 12 of us were charged because our friend was nice enough to bake a cake. We will never go back.
Every time I have a to go order the service is terrible. I always call my orders in, and most recently I placed my order online and set a pick up time. I stood at the to-go counter for 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged my presence. Several staff members passed by but never acknowledged my presence. Once someone finally came out to assist, she didn’t apologize for the wait, didn’t greet me, and had no sense of urgency. She actually seemed bothered that I was there to pick up my order. It’s the same consistently poor experience. If I call my order in or place it online that means I don’t want to wait 15+ minutes once I arrive at the restaurant. Either stop offering to-go or ensure there’s at least 2 staff members available to assist. Or at least have someone with a nice attitude and sense of urgency working the to-go area. This will most likely be my last time ordering from Alicia’s.
Awesome restaurant ambiance and decor. Food was Good. Salsa served cold thou! Had Valentine's Lunch with Gal Pal we enjoyed catching up! Our waiters were attentive.
Today my craving on a warm chicken soup was destroyed by the undercooked rice on it, when I was chewing it it became like sand on my mouth, I was thinking it was only on my plate then my husband told me his grilled salmon could be perfect but they did not cook the rice and he got some rice that felt like little stones on it. After being so reccomended by friends I feel so dissapointed by their food, not coming back to try again.I asked about tortillas on my order, the waiter only mentioned, they were not included and the order did not came with a slice of lime but the soup had slices of jalapeno, NOT all mexican food needs jalapeno to be considered Mexican.
My broccoli and carrots was not cooked properly I could not eat them they were too hard and wasn't seasoned, the rice was too salty, p the fish that I ordered was very bland. My husband ordered some kind of a steak it was toe the beans were bland was not happy with this food service at all. But he was very weak is almost see through. And they need better lighting it's so dark that you cannot hardly see your food. Was not worth the money that we pay for our food at all.
Fantastic fajitas, homemade tortillas and those refried beans were so tasty.
