Hands down the best staff I’ve been around in a long time! We were in town for the state softball tournament and this place was definitely a treat. We were greeted by Madison and let me tell y’all, she was so welcoming and hilarious! Our waitress was Kallyn and she was personable, extremely kind and attentive. We didn’t know at the time, but they were short staffed that evening but everything was delivered promptly, the service was outstanding. Highly recommend eating here. The owner also sat and visited with our family, he was a hoot and has done a wonderful job with his establishment. The views were beautiful and the walk out on the grassy pier towards the water was very nice. If we could give more than 5 stars we definitely would, y’all hit it out of the park. The manager was super cool as well! And to all the staff that signed our girls fish bowl, thank you! You all made their night special. We will definitely be back!
What a nice hidden treat. The big windows and nice view make it a relaxing atmosphere. Service is a little slow but was expected of a Sunday brunch day but it wasn't too terrible, everyone was so nice.The food was so yummy. The gravy for the chicken fried steak was really good. Eggs cooked perfectly how I ordered them. My husband had the burger and I stole a bite...that was amazing. The French toast was definitely different and delicious. They also had some delicious Iced tea (not to sweet, right on the money) The price definitely matched the experience. Great place, highly recommended.side note:bathroom was really clean.
Love it! We were there Saturday night for an early morning fishing trip and came back and ate lunch there.The servers are very nice and helpful and after some whining on my part moved us out to the patio overlooking the lake.Very Nice!
We had fisherman's platters. Fried catfish was great as was coconut shrimp. Wish regular fried shrimp had a little more crust. Green beans were some of the best I've ever had! Waitress was great and prices were reasonable. We loved sitting outside with a nice breeze.
Restaurant on the water with a great view. Parking is gravel and behind the restaurant. Restaurant is clean and in good repair as are the restrooms. We visited on a Saturday afternoon. About a quarter of the tables were full. It took almost an hour to get out food. The food was ok, but not great. The prices are a little high for the calibur of the entrees. Nice place to hang out, but don't expect great food.
Food was good and this was the second time we went to the restaurant, but after what the management had said to us about how we tip I wouldn't bother going back....... Maybe in the future, but when a restaurant is not paying their workers like they should then you have a problem. Like I said a manager shouldn't be asking for tips for her workers especially when you have other wealthy clients that come and spend money in there establishment.
Great place to eat!! The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was perfection. And the view was beautiful!
Liked this place, we were wanting something different not the usual chains you find in Corsicana. It hit the spot. Will be back for patio dining when weather is better & looking forward to checking out the Sunday brunch very soon
We had our family Thanksgiving lunch yesterday with our group of 12 ordering all over the menu. The service was amazing and the food received great remarks by all.. We will be back for sure.
Had a great experience tonight. From our amazing waiter to the great food!Everything was exceptional from the salad to the green beans to the steak and shrimp.We have a hidden jewel here in Navarro County.We were pleasantly surprised!?
