My family needed to meet up to send my girls on for a summer visit. We purposely chose Corsicana because we found Across The Street Diner for our breakfast option!I reserved a table the night before. We showed 20 minutes early and were sat immediately! They were so friendly! I had Emily. She was knowledgeable of the menu asking all the write questions.We loved the whole mom and pop meets soda shop vibe! ?100% recommend the chicken and waffles! The Crab Cakes Eggs Benedict too! I had the Monte Cristo. Everything was delicious and affordable!
This little diner in Corsicana, TX is so cute and has nice people, great prices, huge selection of food, and clean bathrooms!These salads we ordered were phenomenal! And huge. So much freshness.This was our second visit as we live hours away, but we drive between Dallas and College Station (kid at TAMU). It's definitely worth a little detour off of the highway. I prefer to support local businesses and not subject myself to fast food so often. We will continue to eat here on our trips.
My husband and I decided to take a trip out of town and came across this place. Customer service was fast and excellent. The fruit was fresh and the french toast was the best I've ever had at a restaurant.
I came here to have lunch with my daughter and my sister that works by.I dont like to pick chain restaurants to eat at, I quickly was able to find this place on Google maps.The service was great, quick, my drink was always full. The burger was delicious, we all enjoyed our food. All burgers need a egg on them?!There was also what looked like home-made pies and other delicious desserts available.
The gyro and macaroni salad was excellent. Our waitress, Stacey, was so attentive and thoughtful. Big service equals big tips. Rae had the Greek salad. Exquisite ! Her words. Clean, ecclectic, not too crowded. I old downtown.
Great service, plenty of staff. Food was served in a timely fashion. Food was hot and tasty. Waitress was very efficient and nice. Need to go here when in town. I had Cajun catfish and wife had sandwich. Both were excellent.
We stopped for lunch while traveling to the lake & 6 of us ordered different things from the menu & it was all AMAZING! The limeade was my favorite drink as well! Great for families & even the picky eaters are bound to find something! We’ll definitely be back when driving through the area!

Sharon was our server and she was simply the best. The food and ambiance here is great and I would highly recommend it!! Every food I tasted I would have it again.
Ok place. Service is great. Food is good - definitely not home-cooked & a long wait from the kitchen.
