Absolutely amazing. Very expensive but completely worth it. The atmosphere is a little cramped but very elegant all the same, I felt underdressed for sure!I got the bacon wrapped dates and just wow. Absolutely perfect combination of salty and sweet and the bacon was crispy and high quality for sure.New York strip was among the most tender and juicy steaks I've ever had, extremely thick but cooked perfectly.Lamb meatballs did not stand out as much as the rest of the food but were still very good but the sauce it's served in is truly incredible.Drinks were great and had an amazing presentation! I am shocked that such an upscale place exists outside the bigger cities, seriously miles ahead of anything else around.My wife and I moved from a big city to a very small town and we were so happy to have found somewhere nearby where we can still have a wonderful date night.Our server Emily was a gem! My wife and I went there for our anniversary and it was amazing. Fantastic food, reasonably priced and friendly staff. A great place to go for a special occasion or just to treat yourself. The lobster bisque is to die for. Some of the best I have ever had.
My wife and I had our Anniversary dinner at the Bistro. The service was top notch. We both enjoyed our steaks and thought the lobster macaroni and cheese was delicious. We will definitely go back for drinks and dinner on a special occasion.
I was in Corsicana for work and we visited this restaurant for dinner, and it did not disappoint. It was nice to find a quality dining experience in a small town. We ordered appetizers, entrees, and desserts, and everything was absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend trying this spot if ever in town, you will not be disappointed.
Loved this diner! The food and service was great. I had the Greek Gyro and my wife had the Texas Grilled Cheese and they were both very tasty. Leave room for dessert. ?
Went here for Mother’s Day brunch, party of 6. Service and food were both fantastic. Tried the tuna tartar, crab stack, soup of the day, cheese board, chicken and waffles and several different salads. Presentation was top notch. Every plate had just a little something extra that made it unique and stand out from similar dishes at other restaurants. Definitely a special treat to visit here. Can’t wait to come back for a date night.
High quality dining and food. This place is competitive with some of the best Dallas restaurants! Steak, salmon, caprese salad, chocolate silk pie - awesome.
Considering it is in Corsicana, a town perhaps known for things other than it’s good, Across the Street was a gem. It is a small, intimate, warm environment that could easily compete with cuisine one normally found in larger metropolitan areas.I had the salmon, which was cooked perfectly, the baked dates, which were an explosion of tastes and textures, and the stuffed grape leaves, which were almost a meal of their own.I drove an hour to eat here and it was absolutely worth the trip. Bravo!
Date night good place. Bistro hours are wrong. Opens at 5pm. Bistro prices are $$$. Food was very good. Diner next door was open during the day.
Very nice slide of Americana kept alive and well in Corsicana. American diner type soda fountain type bar and booths than harkens back to a different time with nice comfort foods and good service.
