Loved the sushi and the drinks! Had the smoked oysters too! Very nice, very good food. The staff was super nice and attentive. Will definitely have to visit again.
This sushi bar is connected with the Oyster bar .This place is amazing, you can get the fabulous sushi that is very good , but you can get also the Oysters and others thing from the Oyster bar.The service is very goodYou need to visit this place
Love the sushi and California rolls. Service was great. This was my first time visit, I would definitely cone back. A lil selfish with the ginger.. even when i asked for more...
Started with Shrimp Picayune which was very interesting...started with a sweet flavor then finished with a spicy kick. I had the bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp they were delicious. My wife had the BBQ Salmon salad it was very good and for the price a nice piece of salmon.
We decided to give them a try as we were downtown for the farmers market. Called ahead to make sure they had oysters as many restaurants in area did not. The bay here was closed due to over harvesting so they had oysters from all over the US, closet being Galveston but a dozen was $35. A little steep for us retired folks. Prices high in general so went for something simple as not very hungry, Tractorman has the fried oyster po'boy and it was just ok, a bit on the fishy side. I had the chicken Rockefeller was good but too much garlic. Overpowered the rest of the dish. Caesar salad you could tell was homemade dressing and was tasty. Even the butter with the rolls we very heavy in garlic. Being a Wed night they were packed. Service was excellent which was pleasant as busy as they were. Another problem is the parking lot for them is super tight, my husband had to stand out side to guide me to get our F250 out with only inches to spare. When we drove in we could not turn the circle as another truck had parked at an angle with a huge hitch hanging out so we went ahead and parked hoping he would be gone when we where done which was the case. The atmosphere was neat , can be very loud when busy so note that. The Sushi bar had a 45 min wait for items so might be good to visit on non-busy time for lower noise level and more options.
Love this place.Have never had a bad experience. There is always a wait, but it usually goes quicker than the estimate. The servers have always been friendly and helpful.
Stopped in while doing through Corpus Christs, this was recommended to us when we were at the visitor center, and we are so glad it was. The food is great and the oysters wonderful got a 1/2 dozen of the grilled smoked oysters. They were smoky flavored and not over cooked. I also order the seafood gumbo and it was very good. My husband ordered the shrimp salad and loved it. Lots of shrimp and fresh mixed greens. Also go a side of their mac-n-chees. It is a must to try, very good. Service good and great location downtown. The desserts looked so good, but had no room left to try. Will need to stop by again when during through to try them.
Rarely you come across a restaurant where the meal is so good you just don’t want it to end. This meal was like that. First, try to make it to happy hour by 6–oysters and sushi rolls are half price. Both were excellent. Then we had seafood gumbo, also excellent. And, even found a pearl in the oyster!! Great way to end the year.
The pecan crusted oysters are great! The service was on point and all the food came out in a timely manner. We also had the crab cakes and the Water Street Sushi Roll. All very good as well.
I would give this 10 stars. The service provided by Kelsey was incredibly efficient, professional and friendly. We went for happy hour and enjoyed a dozen gulf oysters,a super salmon roll and a delicious Bloody Mary. I highly recommend this restaurant. Every meal served at other tables looked fabulous.
