We came the day before and ended up leaving due to the 90 minute wait time as there are no reservations taken on Fridays and Saturdays. When we came back today, there was about a 20 minute wait to be seated. The restaurant was pretty crowded but wasn't overly loud. The atmosphere was nice and the customer service was attentive and helpful. Once seated, we ordered half price appetizers of peel and eat shrimp and California rolls. Our orders were taken next and delivered in about 15-20 minutes. We ordered fettuccine Alfredo, creole hush puppies, house salads, Caesar salads, black drum fish, crab cakes, rice, shrimp kabobs(harpoons) , oysters, popcorn shrimp, and fries. The food was good and plentiful.

This place had fantastic oysters, the service was so fast and our server Charles R, was very very good! The seafood tower with all the oysters and shrimp was fabulous and the sushi was very good. Excellent food we really enjoyed it we will be coming back

Phenomenal food. A little pricey but the fish is very fresh, perfectly cooked with good sized portions. I ordered the blue fin tuna with a blue cheese sauce. I had a salmon poke bowl to go for the next day at lunch which was wrapped up nickel separating the fish from the rice and sauces. I’ll definitely be back to try the sushi and raw bar.

Most times I would not eat twice in the same day at the same restaurant… and probably you wouldn’t either. But, when you find one that’s excellent, convenient and reasonable, it happens. Earlier today I stopped at a seafood market at the marina hoping they sold some cooked meals. Nope. Just raw seafood. But they recommended the Water St Oyster bar where I had eaten dinner during my last visit to Corpus Christi. That time I had a full dinner off their chalk board. It was very good but not what I was looking for today. So, instead, I ate at the bar, had a cold draft paired with 6 raw oysters. They were fabulous. Cold, clean, large and tasty. When dinner time rolled around I decided to return. After finding a place at the bar again I had another Nueces lager draft and ordered a shrimp ‘po boy with sweet potato fries. I don’t think I could have picked a better dinner. The sandwich was perfect. The roll crispy on the outside, the shrimp lightly breaded and overflowing and the sweet potato fries outstanding. And under $20! . If they were open for breakfast I would be there again tomorrow. .

It had been over 10 years since I last ate here and I'm so happy to report that it is still fabulous. We dined in for Sunday lunch (around 1:30pm). The service was excellent as was the food. The calamari was arguably the best we'd ever had, a mix of lightly breaded & calamari (crowns & tentacles), Jalapeños, & sweet potato fries. We ordered the Seafood pasta Jambalaya & the Mesquite blackened swordfish. Both were cooked perfectly. The pineapple salsa, rice pilaf, & zucchini/squash complimented the swordfish perfectly. We got the Brownie to go. It was huge. Popped it in the microwave for 20s before enjoying it but I think we could have eaten it cold and it would have been just as good. This is definitely a reservation place esp if you're trying to eat here Fri-Sat night, unless you don't mind long wait times. We called ahead for Sunday lunch. We're told 25 min. Walked there in about 15 min & were seated less than 5min after our arrival.

Started with Shrimp Picayune which was very interesting...started with a sweet flavor then finished with a spicy kick. I had the bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp they were delicious. My wife had the BBQ Salmon salad it was very good and for the price a nice piece of salmon.

Great place. Wife and I were visiting Corpus Christi for few days and wanted to go to a seafood place. Found this spot and went there on Saturday evening. There was a wait but it was shorter than expected. Our server was awesome and very attentive. Chargrilled oysters were very good as an appetizer. Main entrees we're excellent too. Everything was perfect.

I frequent Water St Oyster and Sushi Bar. One of my top notch restaurants and a very highly recommended joint for those that are new to or visit Corpus Christi. Located in the Bayfront section downtown. I reccommend going in at opening time during the lunch time as it gets pretty packed quickly and may have to wait for a seat. Dinner time you will have to wait longer. The food is impeccable, the service is awesome, the staff is over and beyond great! I can’t say more than enough how awesome each dining experience has been. A staple for almost 40 years! Please get the jalapeño popper roll and thank me later!

We decided to give them a try as we were downtown for the farmers market. Called ahead to make sure they had oysters as many restaurants in area did not. The bay here was closed due to over harvesting so they had oysters from all over the US, closet being Galveston but a dozen was $35. A little steep for us retired folks. Prices high in general so went for something simple as not very hungry, Tractorman has the fried oyster po'boy and it was just ok, a bit on the fishy side. I had the chicken Rockefeller was good but too much garlic. Overpowered the rest of the dish. Caesar salad you could tell was homemade dressing and was tasty. Even the butter with the rolls we very heavy in garlic. Being a Wed night they were packed. Service was excellent which was pleasant as busy as they were. Another problem is the parking lot for them is super tight, my husband had to stand out side to guide me to get our F250 out with only inches to spare. When we drove in we could not turn the circle as another truck had parked at an angle with a huge hitch hanging out so we went ahead and parked hoping he would be gone when we where done which was the case. The atmosphere was neat , can be very loud when busy so note that. The Sushi bar had a 45 min wait for items so might be good to visit on non-busy time for lower noise level and more options.

The staff is really sweet and nice.Service is wonderful ❤️I have a best valentine dinner ever. And the dessert is so so good!!!Highly recommended!
