We loved every dish we ordered. Tried appetizers, Kids lunch. Pad Kee Mao Drunken noodles, Thai Basil fried rice served in crispy food bowl which is fresh to eat together.Tasty authentic food, Great presentation!
Unhygienic, too pricey, unprofessional, insensitive !Presentation of food is good. That’s about it.Hygiene is bad. Flies and bugs. Bathroom in small place, stinks. I was seated little far away luckily.Taste is mediocre. Few dishes were too spicy. It kinda submerged any other flavors if any.Service is just bad. We were group of 8 but were served only 6 plates. Took multiple requests for the other 2 plates and silverware. Was never asked for spice level but served real spicy food. We had kids so not ideal. The staff seemed uncoordinated and insensitive at times.Priced too high for every dish. Has gratuity and shared entrees extra fee.You mention that the price is not up to the quality of food; you are yelled at. The owner or co-owner shouts at women too. Disrespectful.Avoid it if you can. I’m sure you can a find better place. My vacation day was ruined, thanks Thai Spice.
Place looks great. People are real nice. There the good things end. Food comes out super slow and out of order. (I ordered stir fry and an appetizer, the appetizer came out ten minutes after the entree.) Food itself is presented really well but done in a way to hide that there's not really a lot of it there. Beyond that it's okay, palatable, lacking in spice and flavor but not offensive or off-putting. Mediocre, really. On top of that it's more expensive than it should be, especially given the options in the area.Unless you're right next door I recommend finding another place to go. Also, if you have a time table you need to respect you absolutely need to go somewhere else.
If the presentation matched the quality of service and the food this place should get a 5 star. It took 57 minutes to get our meal which looked amazing until we ate it. The beef was suppose to be tender and it was tuff. After the owner gave us the check and I explained to him that the service was bad and the food wasn’t what I was expected for the price of the food, he threaten me by saying he was going to slap me if I said anything else.He explained that his was wife was the cook for over 20 years.Maybe she should retire.Changed my review from 2 to 1 stars.3 people $110 and we didn’t even order Alcohol.$20 plus the cost of meat, who does that?
Ordered red curry with calamari and pad thai with crispy salmon and shrimp.5 star - ambience: the restaurant is very cozy and decorated nicely.5 star - presentation: the food is served with carved fruit and gold dishes. This makes the portion sizes smaller, but a nice touch.1 star - taste: in comparison with thai food from LA, NYC, and Denton it was a 2 on a 10 point scale. The spice in the curry was evident, but there was no savory notes. I have never had to request salt and pepper at a thai food restaurant. I did enjoy the option of different proteins such as calamari, lamb, and crispy salmon as compared to the normal shrimp, chicken, and beef.1 star - service: when seated at 7:19 pm the waiter should have mentioned that the kitchen was under staffed. We received our food at 9:24 pm. We received no coupon, discount, or at least an appetizer egg roll or something for the wait.
Absolutely incredible food ! Service and ambience:) You will not be disappointed and a perfect place for a date night! This place deserves a 5 star!
Really incredible food and service here. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. The food is expertly prepared by their chef.Everything was flavorful, fresh, and the portions were on the larger side. The presentations are really top notch. The ambiance was really nice. Tranquil music cascading through the dining area which contained ample comfortable seating, and really beautiful decorations and shrines. No tacky televisions running bad programming. Highly recommended if you are looking for authentic Thai over the usual fusion flavors.
white tablecloths are on each of the 15 to 20 tables or so giving a warm feeling and suggesting you are in a higher end restaurant. The food at the tables of a few lunch diners looked beautiful. Their is only one server but it is a small restaurant. He was welcoming and provided good service. We were given a bowl of complimentary soup that was delicious. It was some type of lemongrass soup and was extremely flavorful. We ordered the chicken satay that was beautifully presented. Our expectations were high. But sadly the peanut sauce that came with the chicken satay was flavorless. Yep, you read that right. Flavorless peanut dip? Our entrees came. Mine was some lemongrass entree with tofu. It came literally covered with red pepper. This so surprised me because I had had a long chat with server about spicy food indicating I didn't want anything spicier than the soup. The server accepted my request to return that plate and make a new one without covering it with red pepper with grace. My new dish came quickly and had no red peppers on it as requested. Yay. It was piping hot too. The flavor was mild. It was a nice dish but not super tasty. My friend ordered Pad Thai a dish she normally loves. Her meal came covered with red pepper too. But since she had said she wanted it a level two spice she didn't feel she could request a remake. What she wasn't expecting is that 100% of the spice in dish would come from red peppers. I knew her dish was a failure when she left a good hunk of it on the plate. It was a disappointing meal overall. Oh and prices for soda are crazy! She paid 4.95 for a bottle of diet coke and $3.95 for some tea. Yikes. Way to high. Overall we left feeling a bit down as my friend loves Thai food and was really looking forward to going to this place.
Based on the Google reviews we went and it did not let us down. It’s an family owned Thai food restaurant and you will feel the DIFFERENCE in the food taste you may have ate in another restaurant. It was full packed and had to wait 30 mins advance booking recommended. We loved it, try soups and crispy curry options.
They are extremely sketchy people!I ordered 2 of their edamame and they literally took 1 order and split it into 2 boxes!!!!Complete rip off!!! I will NEVER come here again. Hope the extra $8 you CHEATED ME OUT OF was worth it…..
