We got the Texas Plate and the best thing i ate was the Carne Guisada. Good thing we planned to share because the plate was huge and we still didnt finish it. Added a couple of Dos Equis and we were satisfied. The only other comment is chips were a little too dark but didnt taste burnt. Had quick and courteous service too. Overall good dining. They were not busy at all on Saturday night at 7:30.
We are from Chicago so we know food, and we eat Mexican food all the time. We had 45 minutes to blow before we needed to check into our flight. We had been in Corpus Christi for a week...we ate at many great places...but we all agreed that this quick meal was the best we had while there and btw...it was the least expensive. Definitely try it.
Great food! Tacos were big, and the sodas are crisp and coffee is delightful!!! So fresh and homemade!!
