One of the better sushi places in town. The food is what you would expect, there were some great ones though; ex: tiger roll with no eel. We ordered 4 rolls, 2 specialty with 2 basic; one of the specialty rolls was delayed in getting to us. We had finished the other 3 and waited for the 4th one.Seems pretty busy on a weeknight. Nothing special in terms of food or service. It was a little bit above average. It was pretty expensive in terms of prices; one of the specialty rolls was $16! Sadly it won't be on our rotation of places we regularly eat at but it'll do in a pinch!
Took my team there last night and it was not a good experience. After we sat we were greeted by the guy getting the drinks who was not friendly but we soon that was made up by the gentleman cooking the food who was fabulous and he was the only good thing of the whole evening. 4 people were served plain rice instead of fried and when I spoke to drinks guy he just shrugged it off. The food was nice but had to ask 4 times for drinks which took forever to come. Then we had just finished our meal and the bill was put down. We were not asked if we wanted anything else. Service terrible and when I got the $70000 bill they had added $100 plus service charge to it. I asked drinks guy about it and he said that is how it is and I said I wanted to leave my own tip as the service has not been good and he just walked off. As I was paying bill and one of party taking a last bite a gentleman who I presumed was Manager came over telling us that he was 30 minutes behind and he needed table and we had to leave. I always tip well but this was a shambles. I have never received service like this and this was supposed to be a nice evening taking my team out who have all worked tirelessly through Covid out as a thank you. I understand that you have to turn tables for revenue but we were only there for a hour and half. Its very much a case of money over service. Will not be returning.
I hit up a place like this every time I travel. This was my meal. $20 dollars for a bunch of rice and some hard white part of cabbage or whatever that veggie was. There was maybe 6 ounces of chicken there. They really skimp on the meat. The food was ok. Not as good as others but not terrible. Also they will not seat you at the hibachi table unless you have 4 people with you. Should have been a red flag as that was the whole reason we went. For the experience. If you need something overpriced and mediocre this place is it. Otherwise there are much better places to eat at. My coworker got sushi that looked nothing like the picture on the menu they gave us. In his words this place was disappointing.
The Hibachi is now open! Always some great tasting food! Great service with a friendly positive demenor. Fun place for a birthday or just for a family gathering!Sushi is excellent and reasonable priced.
The sushi was delicious! I ordered the salmon hibachi, and that salmon was perfectly cooked! Definitely would come back and eat here again. The service was friendly, prompt, and accurate.
We were in town for a funeral and walked in on a Saturday night with a party of 12 with no reservation and our fingers crossed. They hurried and got tables together for us and we were seated in no time. Our server was top notch, and the food was outstanding and portions more than fair. Highly recommend the pupu platter if you need an appetizer for several people. 5 ⭐️
My husband and I went here for lunch and had Teriyaki Beef without broccoli. I assume because he asked for no broccoli his food came after mine and was actually sizzling. The pieces of meat looked like little pieces of steak. Wonderful. I had kung pao and asked for beef and shrimp. I was needlessly worried about ordering shrimp. The shrimp was nice sized and fresh. We both totally enjoyed our meals. Our service was great as well. Both of us would come here again. It was delicious.
Always a great dining experience
We had the hibachi. The chef was friendly and funny. The bartender was friendly. We really enjoyed ourselves there and the food was very delicious.
My wife and I had our first date here. The food and atmosphere has always been great. Service has never been bad. Drinks at the bar do not disapoint. Hibachi is great with a group of friends. Kids love the chicken and lomein and they do serve chicken nuggets and fries for the picky eaters and a must I always take a order of pineapple fried rice to go.
