We were on vacation when the Surfing Crab was recommended to us for great seafood meal. We went on our second night of vacation. We decided on the snow crab and shrimp which came with corn, potatoes and sausage with the Surfing Crab house seasoning. It was delicious. Our waitress answered every question we had and was very attentive. The manager came around twice and the assistant manager came around once to talk and check on us. I spilt my drink and even the clean up crew was there immediately and were very polite. We highly recommend and if we are ever back in town we will surely eat there again.
Everything I’ve order was excellent and I will be keep this place in my favorites and should be rate more then five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️; this beats other fish & seafood restaurants I’ve order from; keep up with the wonderful excellent work as your are there surfing crab and welcome to Corpus Christi Texas !! ~April

I don’t eat seafood, but my family does, and every time we go to seafood restaurants I end up with a gross meal. Not this time! ? the wings are delicious, the salad is great, and the fried rice was a nice addition to the menu! Truly something for everyone. I appreciate that.
An amazing experience- attentive servers, quick service and knowledgeable. We felt welcomed and the staff was always making sure our needs were met, when one of our drinks appeared to have something in it, without us having to flag down our waitress she showed up and brought a fresh glass, moreover she was great at timing our orders, thank you all so much. We've been to both locations and this one we will probably return to again.
We ordered for pick-up which was are first time trying SC altogether. It was a little expensive we were overall impressed with the quality and amount of food we got for the price. The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is because some of the fried items we ordered were slightly on the warmer to cool side. Even so, it was still very good and we took into account when you order take out, the risk of some or all your food not being nice and hot increases. The seafood boils were really great though! The food was hot, delicious and fresh. We will definitely order from here again.

The service was awesome. I think her name was Daniella, she was very professional and very welcoming. The loaded crab? fries? and steamed broccoli ? with medium seasoning was a hit!! my wife got the crab legs and I never seen her so much like a little scavenger tearing up those thangs! I highly recommend this place and will be going back there really soon! ???
We were in the mood for plain, boiled seafood. We called in and tried to place a combo order or boiled shrimp, clams and mussels. We just wanted the boiled seafood with NO seasoning. The person taking the order said we HAD to pick a seasoning. Really? When we said we did not a seasoning, he had to put me on hold and I guess get Congressional approval. Finally, they said they could do this order. Odd.
We went for my birthday and my son's birthday having heard many great things, but not really knowing what to expect.Ultimately we enjoyed the meal. Great hushpuppies and shrimp.I felt it was lacking in quantity of potato/corn, but we left very satisfied with our meal and the staff's service.This may not be for you if you don't enjoy shrimp/crayfish boils.
