This Sunday we went and the dude taking the drive thru orders told my husband that if not leaving a tip to put other. Well my husband fault for trusting and pressing other giving him the conniving opportunity to add 30% tip ($15.55). Theft of service. Pay attention to your receipt.
I live out of town. I tried Sonny's last time I was in Corpus Christi and I was so impressed. I returned this week and had to make Sonny's Barbacoa a stop and I was not disappointed. I was greeted by several staff members - all very kind and smiling with very good attitudes. The food is also very good. I highly recommend and plan to return again next time I am in town.
Got to try the Chicharones! They are delicious ? even crunchy the next day??
Best Barbacoa in Corpus hands down! They filled the tortillas w enough meat to barely close the tacos this morning…crew loved it and appreciated it in this cold weather! Thank you for it all! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Everyone was very friendly so early in the morning too…hands down best in town!
Barbacoa is good, but you all should try bbqn it with mesquite. Once I tried it bbqd, omg it was delicious but the only place that use to do it doesn't anymore?.
Great breakfast tacos! Danny is always friendly and if you’re a regular, he can usually remember your order! The owner & his sons always have the food on point!
Went to Drive thru to get chicharrones .. guy came out took my order. Told me the total. Then ask me if I'm going to give him a tip. I did but it's his job to take my order not to ask me the customer for a tip. All he did was put chicharrones in a bag and bring it to me. Then threw me my change. I give tips when you actually work for it. But caught me off guard just to straight up ask for a tip . Haven't gone in years to sonny's. Maybe it will be another couple of year before I go. But they were good and delicious.
The Very Best Barbacoa, Beans, Rice, Chicharrones, Fresh made Corn Tortilla's I have ever tasted!! I will be going back as soon as possible. I will be driving the 2 hour round trip just to get their food as often as possible.
