Waited at the drive through speaker for a few minutes but was never greeted soo I drove to a parking spot speaker. Greeted properly after pushing the button to order. I attempted the ice coffee for the first time. Do not recommend. “Mocha” syrup sat at the bottom of the cup and over all not a pleasant taste. I had to throw it away. My croissant sandwich was poorly made. Completely Smashed to the sausage patty. Tots were fine. Definitely won’t come back for my breakfast needs.
I’m appalled with just happened during my visit at sonic. ATTENTION ALL: make sure you always ask for a receipt and check it. The amount given to you when ordering at the drive thru is different from the window. I say this because the girl that took my cash gave me a higher amount. My flags were up, I gave her a $10 and she gave me .30 cents change. I was so confused as She thanked me and immediately shut the window, walked away. I didn’t leave, I waved someone down and explained my situation to another employee. I told her that She failed to give me a receipt too. I told the employee that I was short changed and have her my order. I watched as She approached the employee. They employee showed no remorse but rather placed her hand on her forehead.Bottom line:…… check your receipt. It’s the principle. Don’t short change, be honest and own up to your mistakes. Btw, I did NOT act hostile nor rude. I was totally baffled.
Sonic, for the most part, are among my faves. Texans seem to agree because they have locations all over but the ones out of Texas even have shorter operating hours. The nostalgic feel can take you back a little if you let it.

Fountain worker doesn't know how to use a blender. Ordered a vanilla shake and the consistency is so thick, it's like they just put ice cream in a cup, unblended, or not blended with enough half n half.
