I've been coming here for years. A couple of years ago they sold. Ever since the the food has been going downhill. I wanted to eat there on the way home this last Friday and while the prices have increased and the fish portions had gotten alot smaller it was good. After I got home I looked at my receipt and noticed I was charged for a tip of 11.29. I don't know what for, we get our own drinks and food, they don't do anything for a tip. Called and manager would not come to phone or return call. Not going there again.
We wanted some fried fish and shrimp and this place delivers. GREAT fried plates. It’s an order at the counter, grab a drink at the bar, find a spot and wait for them to call your name kinda place. Great for crowds and kids. Plus, the view is spectacular at sunset. Not fancy, but really good food and a fun vibe! Lots of locals - always a good sign!
Probably think twice coming back 2nd time, there are no fans for outside seating (imagine with Texas heat!), the foods were mediocre, doesn't give you a "wow" in the mouth. Also stopped by their ice cream.. I was expecting homemade, but it's Blue Bell ice cream. With the four waffle cones, I could get more from a grocery store. Staffs were friendly, but not the foods.
Food tasted like fried in "old oil". Bad when 90% menu is fried. Salad and coleslaw best part. Overpriced. Paid $70 for 2 people. Sorry, heard use to be good. Worst meal on the island. Go next door to Doc's instead.
Good seafood joint next to the water.Indoor and outdoor seating available.Full bar. Decent portion sizes.Live music outside when we went.
Nice place, ok-good food, Great Location. Great menu options such as baked mahi mahi fish, fried shrimp, shrimp and rice, fried fish, fish (tuna im pretty sure) tacos. The Location is fabulous. Right by the sea perfect sunset views. Boat rentals nearby (walking distance). But there are 2 main downsides, number 1 being there aren't that many halal options, number 2 the air conditioning in some parts of restaurant is not the best. Extra: there is the slightly bad fish smell here and in the sea but that to be expected.
Great food, the shrimp was cooked perfectly, onion rings were crispy and delicious. I had baked fish and it was great. The view was excellent at sunset and they have a karaoke dj and a bar.
Enjoyed fast and tasty seafood right on the water! We drove like 30 minutes out of the way for this place, which had me nervous, but I am so glad we stopped here! I enjoyed the fish of the day, which can be done in numerous forms (fried, baked, tacos, etc.). I'm a big fish taco person and they did not disappoint! Also has a nice little bar with some fun and refreshing cocktails. The staff is incredibly friendly from the restaurant to the store inside. And it's next door to an ice cream place. Definitely worth stopping if you're near Corpus Christi! We had a blast!
Love Snoopy's! Had the fish n chips which were so good, not greasy at all! And their coleslaw is my favorite, no mayo. I switched out the fries for the puppies and it was all delicious. We also had the boiled shrimp which was a little pricey for 10 shrimp but it was very good. The staff were very friendly and of course the view is amazing. Went back for drinks and sunset, saw the dolphins and beautiful views. If you want fancy - don't stop here. This is casual, order at counter and seat yourself. Pefect beach vibes!
Awesome place for seafood! Don’t be afraid of the lines, they are quick and service is good. If you don’t know what to get they are friendly enough to make suggestions. We went on a Friday night and found a table with a view. Our food took like 10 min and was very hot and fresh. The gumbo was okay lacked flavor. The shrimp, fish and crab cakes were very delicious. The workers are quick to clean up tables and take away plates when your done. The sunset view was beautiful from the porch. We would definitely come again.
