This restaurant was awesome, we’re from San Antonio and this level of sushi would have been way more expensive… We ordered a good amount of drinks, 4 appetizers and 4 Rolls, ( you gotta try the Light My Fire Roll) and was surprised when the bill came in, honestly thought it was gonna be twice as much… Darian was our server, she did a great job. Great place, highly recommend!
We had a great time at this funky little spot. We were pretty much the only ones there. We started off with the fried soft shell crab. It was incredible, we even ordered two we enjoyed it so much. The rest of the rolls (four in total and I sadly can’t remember all their names except for the Let it Ride, Light my Fire, and the chef’s special). The service for the rolls was really slow sadly. And we got some happy hour drinks that were fine but seemed very very weak on the alcohol. We tried the watermelon martini and cucumber martini. Overall the food was tasty but the slow service despite an empty restaurant, and weak drinks was a disappointment. It also was very hard to find rolls that did not have cream cheese in them which I found very odd.
Good food. Our server Megan was awesome. We did not have a reservation (recommended) but were able to secure a table shortly after arriving. Food took a little long to come out, but the place was packed to the gills.
Took an hour of waiting to get a Philly Roll and Rainbow roll. When they finally came, after multiple promises from the waitress that the rolls were coming right up, they were nothing special. Have had better many other places. Music was great, service terrible, food was average.
This place was awesome, was carried away with happy hour specials and overspend but Service and food was awesome.
This was a jewel on the island. Took my parents for their very special 40th wedding anniversary. Had to stop by a day in advance for reservations because nobody ever answered the phone. The place is rather small and very very busy! Please go knowing that it will take time to get your food but the food is very very good! Definitely worth the wait! We had just about all cold appetizers and a couple of rolls. The cocktails were absolutely exceptional! Some of the best we've ever had! A few more things to keep in mind: the parking lot is very small and there is no separate kids menu. But if you are not in a rush, you will definitely enjoy this place.
Took my wife out for sushi tonight and was very happy with the quality, atmosphere, and friendly servers. The servers were very helpful and accommodating to my wife’s dietary needs and had great attitudes. A reservation is highly recommended if you are dining between 5-7.
A must have Sushi place!! If you enjoy sushi then you must come here! The food is amazing as well as the Rock n Roll atmosphere. The environment is a very welcoming home feeling. The restrooms are extremely clean which is a must due to my medical needs. The customer service is top notch and great conversationalist. The waitress was extremely knowledgeable of the types of Sushi and recommendations were perfect for us! There is a long wait for food but it is worth it just be sure not to be in a hurry. Huge recognition to our waitress Cait who's knowledge, friendliness and Sushi suggestions made our experience perfect! It was good. I asked the server to choose 2 for us and I was happy with the choices. The wine list is not geared for our style, so really only one choice for us. Looked at the sake and same thing, not geared for our styles. The rolls were good, needed more without cream cheese on them. Like the use of the goat cheese. They were quite busy and seemed accommodating to people as I heard others say hold this add that. So you can customize the rolls. Wish I had room for the miso pecan pie. I would recommend giving it a try. We enjoyed our dinner and our server was friendly and the wait staff worked together.
