Food was pretty good, but I was super disappointed that they stopped offering spumoni although it's on the menu.
Good food and service. Disappointed at the service charge added to my bill for using a credit card. Personal check not accepted and I don't like to carry cash.
The service is great. The garlic toast is great. Chicken carbonara or the manicotti is the best dish.
I tried their Chicken Parmesan and I wasn’t really impressed. Honestly I was a bit disappointed. It was on par with Marco’s lasagna. The service was fantastic, but I enjoyed Marco’s bread over Rigatoni’s bread. I’ll have to try something different next time.
Rigatoni'sIt was 4pm in the afternoon. I arrived there n was the only customer. The cooling a.c kept my from melting but the cozy look of the dining area warmed me. The tables were small enough for 1-4. Even in this temperature change of a heat wave it had a low light ambiance embracing feeling of romanticism. This place could deffenatly be for a date night or a serious family outing. Or in my case wanted to treat myself to something nice. The prices are very modest. Unfortunately, like most Italian resturant they only serve wine. My waitress Norma was very helpful with wine selections. Every drink was served in a wine glass with the exception of water in a hogh ball glass. I ordered the chicken Parmesan with spaghetti and marinara sauce. The fried chicken patty was so thick n juicy. N the garlic bread was an excellent bread for the meal. It was 3 toasted pieces, but not burned so u could easily tear with ur hands. The music matched the atmosphere and kept the energy to a certain level that was much needed. It had a chill low vibe..DOWN SIDE: Becareful sitting on the toilet of the ladies restroom n washing ur hands the toilet n sink is kinda loose.N The bar doesnt really scream eat at the bar. They only serve wine so dont think about any margaritas whiskeys or draft bottles, but then again. Eating at the table i think is a better experience. The corner of the bar has a keyboard n mic for a small live entertainment. Available Fridays and saturdays only 7pm to closing. In the end, this place is definatley a hidden gem that needs to be shared with all of corpus chrisit. InWILL DEFINATELY BE COMING BACK. On a Friday or Saturday evening to dine in with a significant for a date night n have the entertainer sing me Franks Sinatras "My Funny Valentine"
Was in town for work and saw this mom & pop Italian restaurant. Usually locally owned restaurant have great taste but this place missed the spot for me. Was definitely expecting much more than your Olive Garden but my expectations were not met. Their cheese sticks did not look nor taste fresh. They tasted something out of a frozen bag and fried, though I know ‘Mozzarella cheese sticks’ are not Italian I have been to some places where you can taste they were fresh and handmade. The tomato basil soup was a little to thick for my liking, more of a paste than a soup. My main entree was the lemon basil chicken and wasn’t impressed. Was way too garlicky and soaked in butter. Chicken was dry and some parts hard from where they over cooked it. Overall my food wasn’t the best, atmosphere is nice and cute. Friendly staff but food was missed.
Lovely. Relaxing Environment. Great place For A Nice Dinner Date. Or A Relaxing Evening With Loved Ones. They Have Wine. Food Was Great ?
