"Bless the manager who ended up placing herself on drive-thru to take over majority of her employees." Due to her as she quoted, "We are very SHORTHANDED, BEHIND ON ORDERS, & OUT OF THINGS!" For example: Large cups, ice, half bags for the 1/2 gallon of tea, etc...She did the best she could, kept on forgetting where orders went or handing out drinks when they were needed. Not only should Popeyes have an on the spot interview day like McDonald's does. But also assign someone to keep the lobby, restroom, & parking lot clean at all times...especially, when its a very small restaurant & not very much to do...15-20 mins tops for all 3 each hour or so. Its not like its packed inside since EVERYONE is outside waiting in their rides after driving through drive-thru. 6-7 people were working so...
The place was pretty clean and nice, but it wasn't good. My family had stopped there to use the restroom and get some food, but the men's restroom was locked. ?We had ordered mac n cheese for my siblings, some chicken tenders, and soda. When we got our food we were missing the mac n cheese from our order, and they gave us 2 DrPeppers instead of a Rootbeer and a DrPepper. We went in to get the food so it would be quick and easy, but the staff was pretty rude. They had been greeting other customers, but for us they ignored what we said and also was rude. Yes, some of the staff was nice, but we felt like they did not like us for something, though we just had walked into the place. This place is nothing like any other Popeyes you would find anywhere else. Would not recommend as a stop for food.
I ordered 4 chicken sandwiches and 1 chicken strip basket. I waited for almost an hour, I got out of the car and when I went in they were touching their face all over the food, and as I’m leaving the food is cold. Please do better because I’m not the only customer who has complained about this.
Very frustrating experience every time I visit. Ordering with the app seems to make it worse. The app says your food will be waiting at the counter. Doors are locked so the drive-in line is required. So at the speaker I told them about my app order and how concerned about my food getting cold. They informed me that my order hadn't been started. So I gave them the app info and they sent me through the line and at the window they tell me to go park. Finally, a lady brings food out and I go over my order with her and she confirms everything is there and swiftly leaves. I look in the sack and part of my order is missing. So either I go home without a family member's request or go back through the drive through line. What a mess. Lack of basic customer care and concern are atrocious at the Calallen location. It is better to drive a few miles and give the business to the Robstown location.
Hot,fresh and juicy ! I eat there a few times so I wont burn out on the savory goodness, its a special treat thing! Always service with a smile!
Very slow, poor customer service, messed up drive thru orders while we dined in, people had to come in to get their orders right. Our order wasn't correct either, they weren't even busy. Do not recommend you go here.
We love Popeyes! But the majority of the time this location has an issue. Example, no straws, no chicken, or a 35 minute wait for chicken, or sides not available.
I don't know why I bother with this Popeyes. ? seriously nothing changes. Most of the time our orders are wrong. Today I only ordered one meal, wasn't busy inside or out and they still got it wrong.
Customer service was superb. The gentleman offered plenty of options and had a positive attitude. The fries were fresh. The chicken was seasoned better than any other location I've tried.
Well we door dashed.... And the chicken was still warm but it was hard as a rock! It was like toooo crispy! And to me the beans and rice was too much beans and juices it like over powered the rice. Honestly I will never eat Popeyes again. I might try thee stallion sandwich but hopefully it's not crispy crispy ?? but I doubt I do.
