This is the second time I have tried Popeyes from this location. The first time I ordered their butterfly shrimp with red beans and rice. They forgot to include any dipping sauce for the shrimp. The second time I just ordered 2 pieces of chicken with mashed potatoes. The chicken was not spicy as ordered, very small pieces (the leg was almost bigger than the thigh) and they forgot to include a fork.
Delicious food, hot and tasty. We dined in, It took awhile to take our order but the service was excellent and the food was worth the short wait.
Long wait. Something is always out or wrong at this location. Then they got my order wrong. I was given spicy and not regular. Ended up having chest pain from one bite (too spicy). Went to go correct my order and door is locked. Had to sit in drive thru all over again with my chest pain and mouth on fire like a dragon with flames in the mouth. Eventually got it fixed but what a hassle . I’m not upset with the staff cause I know they’re actually trying but do better.
that the food was so dried out.It tasted like crazy and the serve was awful.I will never go there again.the staff was so rude and disrespectful..you would think you were eating at Dick's in San Antonio....not cool
I just went to this Popeye's so get a 5 piece Tender, fries and Buffalo Sauce. The only thing they got right was the fries. They completely messed up my order and gave me 5 piece chicken and no buffalo sauce in sightI'm sick of having my orders being a "open to get a mystery prize" deal. Absolutely ridiculous
Ordered family meal. Half was fresh half was not. 2 French fries. One was supper cold one was really hot! Half biscuits were not ready so again half fresh half not fresh.
This place has always given me what I wanted and did it with great customer service. There is a rather plump hispanic lady there who has a great smile and good attitude. IDK her name but she really is an asset. I usuall go the the Church's fried chicken half a block away and alway end up here because That Church's location has terrible customer service and never gets the order's right and has terrible dried up cold chicken and you have to wait 15 minutes for spicy chicken...always! Save yourself a headache and just stop in at this Popeye's and enjoy.
Wow tonight I got the 8 piece chicken nuggets. They were delicious and my rice and beans the rice was good not dry. But the biscuits were amazing so light and soft. We will be back again..♥️
Stood at the counter for 10 minutes and no one waited on us and over heard one of the staff say I don’t want to wait on them first and last time I step in that place they really need to hire friendly people or they are going to go down hill really fast
As far as the food goes, I am happy to report that I was really impressed that the chicken breast and red beans and rice was as good as I remembered. The chicken was moist and it didn't leave a bad aftertaste like some places do because they don't change the oil the meat is fried in very often. I didn't care too much for the dry biscuit or the mashed potatoes that accompanied my meal. Maybe it's just my opinion, but the mashed potatoes tasted awful. I secretly wish they had the honey biscuits that Church's has or maybe even packets of honey to be given in addition to your order. I shared the drumstick with a friend so no opinion on the finished product as far as that goes. It was particularly helpful that I could choose spicy or regular especially when it comes with meal sharing. It would've been nice to be able to either build your own combo or offer a combo that came with 2 chicken breasts instead of the option of only ordering one with the 2 piece combo. I was under the understanding that my combo came with 2 sides and upon further investigation of my receipt, I realize they charged me for the mashed potatoes and that the 2 piece combo didn't come with 2 regular sides. The other issue I had with this establishment is that I placed an order for cookies. 3 piece. Upon leaving it was discovered that not only was it not included with my purchase but it was also not reflected on the receipt. So that was a real downer to not have something to cure my sweet tooth especially after having gone through the motions of ordering and waiting for my meal at such a late hour. (It was 9 PM). Suffice it to say, I know better now than to leave the pickup window before checking my order and the receipt. I didn't want to impose on my ride so I didn't make an effort to double back and inform them they had made a mistake on my order. One of the issues I also had was that the intercom wasn't working very well and they asked us to pull up and give them our order face to face.
