Wow. Great food, good portions, and good service. The only negative is the plate may have been a bit to long under heat lamps and dried out the rice. It has been a while since dining at "On the Border" but I sure do miss not having one in my hometown. It was not to busy and the staff was doing good at busing tables. Clean restrooms and military discount!
We had dinner here our first night (staying in Hilton) delicious. Good service—Had drinks several nights, including during a convention. Tonight our server is Daniela; she is great! Attentive and lots of helpful information! Nice place to end the evenings.
I am giving 5 stars for the SERVICE. If you dine here ask for Cat specifically. She is kind and attentive. She made me feel like she was my Tía just running to the kitchen to grab me a plate. The SWEETEST lady ever! Food was overpriced for the quality. Think Taco Bell taste but more expensive. Margaritas were $5 at happy hour and were good for the price. We were seated at a dirty table by the hostess. I tried to pay little mind because I don't eat directly off the table but I used to work in the food service industry and I NEVER (even before covid) would have sat someone at a dirty table ?. Our server Cat turned a very disappointing situation into a pleasant experience. She is a very valuable employee!!!
The food was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The best part about my experience was my waitress. Her name was cat. Very polite with a great personality. I’ll definitely be returning soon and I’ll make sure to get her section.
Food was amazing and our server Cat was so good! She remembered our orders without even having to write it down it was very impressive. Very excellent server. Would definitely come again!
This is the second time we have tried to get in the patio. We have a pet and it is supposed to be pet friendly. Today we tried to go to the patio. My wife went in and put us down on the waiting list. We waited for over an hour and still hadn't been called. If you're looking for a pet friendly or wanting to go on the patio you might want to go somewhere else!
Restaurant was clean and very friendly. Our waitress Mari was exceptional. This is our 3rd visit in the past 2 weeks and we ask for her. She is attentive and very sweet. We will be back…. Great job Mari!
Our waitress was Cat and she was AMAZING! Very attentive to the table, she was so nice and we hope she’s our waitress next time we come!
The margarita was great! We all ordered something different. I ordered the sampler appetizer which was filling. The flautas were so good. We all enjoyed our meals. Our server was prompt and very nice. The only downside was the chips. They had an old greasy taste to them and so did the chips they used for the nachos. This isnt the first time Ive had chips from here that tasted gross.They need to change their oil more frequently. This is why I only gave 4 out of 5 stars.
Food was great, especially the trio and ribs. Our server, Daniela was very friendly and attentive to us throughout our dinner. We will definitely come back again soon!!!
