We got ours to-go and were not disappointment! Really good BBQ. I don’t know what other reviewers are talking about because the second I got out my car, the wonderful odor of smokey BBQ wafted in the air. Black eyed peas are- delicious. Cherry cobbler- delicious. Wife and boys were happy. We’d go back.
I visited this establishment yesterday (June 9, 2022) Finding a good BBQ place in Corpus is very hard to find, Miller's 'smoked meats' taste great, has the red ring look to it, but right when you walk in, there is no smell of their smoker..They say on their story on website that they use Mesquite and Hickory..is this solid wood or tiny wood chips, (not sure)In other typical barbecue restaurants outside of Corpus Tex Mex bbq places, places like Houston area, DFW area, they take pride in using real Mesquite or hickory wood...and you can it down the street, it draws you in, your mouth waters.At Miller's bbq restaurant you can't, not even inside the restaurant, little less smell any wood smelling of smoking meats.They do have good food, however, the meat carver needs to learn how to slice certain meats...(it's called sliced brisket for a reason).. and the young man who cut the meats that day was doing brisket chunks.They have their own way of doing things, but like many Tex Mex bbq places in Corpus, they slice up the marble of the brisket, (the fatty part)Guess that's what the people want, then again had real barbecue like in Houston or Alvin Texas, they would then know the real difference of wood smoked meats versus places that you have no smell of any wood being used.
My son and daughter in law had a graduation celebration at miller's party room on leopard. The food was absolutely delicious ! The service was great as were the employees! Highly recommend.
Horrible customer service. The owners wife is a real nice lady over the phone, but sadly the company doesn't mirror her sympathetic personality and tries to save face when left with a bad review. My mother fell while walking in the parking lot and didn't notice a huge hole in the asphalt due to no warning cones or signs in place. The manager who is apparently on video “running outside” after my mother fell, offered no assistance nor compassion to my mother. Not once was she asked if she was okay or needed anything like ice or bandages after my moms hands were cut up, she just simply stood there and watched as my mother got up from the ground. (Her phone screen was also cracked and ruined from the incident) Also theres apparently a video of the cashier “placing” the receipt on the counter, which is also not true, my mother asked for the receipt and he tossed it at her out of agitation for the tone in my mothers voice after recently falling in their parking lot and getting no type of compassion or sympathy. I almost had my mother take her review down after my phone call speaking with the owners wife, but after they tried to save face and discrediting my mothers review, i’m glad she didnt. She will not be retuning to this location, and although I have not tried the food personally, after reading the other reviews, I will gladly not be either.
BewareParking lot has big hole. I fell and when I reported to manager she acted like she did not even care. I asked her to please put out a caution cone and she said she’d let owner know. Young kid checking me out was upset and threw receipt at me when I asked for it. I come here weekly and order food for my store employees and can’t believe this. Bad service.
I went two weeks ago to Miller’s on leopard went to the takeout ordered ribs and brisket got home the ribs were dry the brisket was phenomenal I go today and I just ordered the brisket because of what I experienced two weeks ago and the brisket is dry I don’t recommend this place they’re not consistent their food taste like dry rubber
Bbq was ok. Sliced brisket was not tender. Sausage was ok. Don't think I would eat here again. Friendly staff.
The food has gone up over the years, but we still eat here because the BBQ just can't be beat. I will the say it is also a very open dining area, so its hard to have any privacy.
One of my standards when I am in Corpus. Worth a detour to make lunch here. Half chicken dinner is my standard with the 3 meat plate when I'm feeling really really hungry. Have to go a long way to find better.
