1st time visiting this location. We are down in Corpus Christi just for the day. It’s very clean, the music is fantastic, and our Waitress “Cat” was the cherry on top! Amazing customer service! I’ve been in customer service for 25 yrs! “Cat” I hope more people ask how you’re doing because you are an amazing waitress! Your manager should be proud to have you, and if he is the one who checked up on us this this evening! He’s pretty amazing too!
Went in for lunch yesterday 5-01-22 about 11:30. Place was slow. Maybe two tables. Had an odor of fish. Should have just left then. Got seated and received menus. Ordered a beer and wife had sweet tea. Looking at the menu my wife commented on the high prices. Decided to order an appetizer and split a lunch plate. Got the combo platter appetizer and the East coast platter. The appetizer was OK, the calamari was cold, the seafood dip was real good, the Great Balls of Fire seemed like the dip only deep fried in a ball. I ordered a cup of clam chowder and it was horrible, my wife had bisque and said it was good. The platter came and had three supposedly bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp which had no stuffing, just shrimp wrapped in bacon, very dry. Popcorn shrimp was OK, the batter fried flounder was good and the crab cake was uneatable. No wonder no people were eating there. Other places are packed on a Sunday for lunch. I will not return and I highly recommend you don't give them a chance.
I don't Recommend taking advice from staff. I asked how much were the lobster tails $16.99 waitress said and I then asked are they good soze and showed here with my hands and fingers like 7in z 8in apart and she Saif yes their big. I ordered 2 and they brought me out 2 lobster tails that looked the size of big shrimp. I've gottem shrimp bigger then each of them at other restaurants. I was sad but I paid and left after my girlfriend and i finished our drinks and meals. also left a $30.00 dollar tip. spent $200.00 including the tip. I wish they had the old steamed bucket that I liked before with the whole lobster I would order two Buckets just for me. I miss those days Joe's Crab Shack you made me sad this last time we went.
Joe Crab Shack was really good. The waiter Sam was really great. She had a great personality. Joke with us. We didn't have to wait for a table long at all. The food was amazing
Great place for group gatherings. They take care of every little detail for you. I had a Caesar salad with grilled chicken while my friend had a sampler fish platterSomeone else had herbed chicken on either rice pilaf or with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. The drink service offered a variety of choices and was quick and responsive. The server even remembered what my drink was and.got me a refill before I even asked for it.Great menu choices, great service, and a comfortable room to meet. A really great place to be!
The prices on these are ridiculous for fish n shrimp. U could spend less at golden coral n get fish n shrimp. I sat at the barvn the bartenders werent very friendly. No smiles not very warming. I thought the alcoholic drinks were over priced as well. I wasnt really wow'd with the meal. I had the pirate platter. The shrimp was hard n dry i substitute the fries for rice n it was hard n bland. I thought maybe it was seasoned. The food wasnt really to my taste. Maybe for others but i really didnt like it. I could think of a bunch of places that have better grilled n fried sea food. This place is definately a must try at least once to cross it out. The play area for kids is what they got going for themselves. The desserts got me curious. But i didnt try. Im sorry to say i really didnt like my meal n not intrested in coming back. The food i just really didnt like n not intrested in trying anything else.
We had a amazing waitress. We sat outside and the waitress took really good care of us. The food was great. Can't wait to go back again.
We received our appetizers we ordered before our meal, after our meal. The waiter was a little scattered, but all in all, a good meal!
The waitresses were absolutely amazing with my family. My husband ordered a steampot, and I ordered crab legs. We were both eating, and our 5-month-old started to get fussy. One of the waitress asked if she could hold our daughter while we finished eating. I said that was fine.She made my evening. I was able to enjoy the rest of my dinner with my husband and son.
