Love this place, great live music weekly with a variety and some bigger name modern groups of different styles of music. Wednesdays are my favorite, Damon Scott acoustic show is awesome, he is definitely very talented with vocals and guitar and covers a wide variety but is amazing at Grunge/Alternative from the 90's/2000 era. Also on Wednesdays is local tap beers and 2 for 1 pizza slices that are huge. Definitely worth the time to check it out especially when they have live shows
Music was great and the bar staff were friendly but the pizza was terrible. The crust was chewy and tasted like a frozen pizza. And it's also apparent that they just start off with a plain cheese pizza and when you order any type of toppings, they just added on top and heat it up so all your toppings will fall off in your lap since they aren't cooked with the cheese at all. We didn't get a chance to try anything else since it's not clear online that you cant order anything else besides pizza after a certain time. Corpus Christi has a lot of potential for improvement but it seems like they do just enough to get by and don't expect to have returned customers since it's a tourist town
Staff was cool and friendly, great service and the atmosphere was relaxed. The food was not so good... pizza tasted store bought and cheap, I'm really surprised of all the comments on here about how good the pizza is. None of the food was worth it in my opinion. Bottom line is if your looking for some tasty treats this isn't the place, if your looking to have some drinks and chill with friends with music and snacks, I think you'll be alright.
House of Rock has become a staple of downtown Corpus Christi culture. It’s kind of dive, but it’s the character of the venue. They have great shows of all genres, it’s a great venue for private events, the staff is always courteous and cool, and their pizza is amazing. Go there for lunch, go there for happy hour, or go for an event or show at night.

Nice joint with live music. Damon Scott was the local artists providing live music and he was fantastic, amazing selection of songs! Drinks were good and food was solid. Would be back for sure.
