We researched the best burger in Corpus Christi and The House of Burgers and Wings was in the top 3 so we decided on this restaurant b/c it seemed really down to Earth. You can’t miss the building because EVERYTHING is painted red on the outside. When you enter you see a bunch of tables spread out. The menu offers many different options. My wife decided on the Angry Rooster and I chose the Aloha burger. They are massive and hard to get your mouth around. The fries were a little inconsistent and seemed like they could have been cooked longer. So we’re crisp and others were a little mushy. But the burgers were DELICIOUS. Our waiter was very prompt and kept checking in on us and refilling our water glasses. We were even more excited we came to The House of Burgers when we saw a sign inside the restaurant that they started closing on Sundays so their staff could worship God. AH-MAZING business decision. Thank you for the amazing food and friendly service.
3pm 2/23/22. Not crowded at all. The waitress was working the bar or the other way around. She was friendly and sat me straight away. I had the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich, comes with fries. Huge selection of everything you can imagine. The chicken parm sandwich was delicious and enormous. Suggesting that you ask that the cut it for you. It was so good that I burnt my mouth twice before it cooled down. I couldn't finish so the other half gets a ride home. During the initial covid lock down this was my drive thru place. Nice family atmosphere. Good to enjoy dining out again.

Paid almost $45 on 2 burgers and an order if fried mushrooms, we went through the drive thru where we then had to wait 20 minutes before going inside and having to wait another 10. The burgers themselves were rather disappointing and didn't live up to the reputation it was given. The fried mushrooms were soggy and small with not that many which is extremely disappointing after paying $10 for those alone. The staff was friendly enough but the wait, cost, and food itself just wasn't worth it.
Family owned restaurant. Great variety of food, burgers, sandwiches, wings, Mexican food and apps. Happy hour until 7pm—cold draft beer. One of my favorite hole in the wall restaurants in corpus
Excellent food. Excellent variety, Excellent service, Great clean friendly atmosphere, and prices not bad at all. The Buns on the sliders were my fave. Burger meat thick and juicy full of flavor. Definitely will be returning.
I love HOB! They have the best fried pickles and their burgers are soo tasty. Portions are huge and menu is affordable. We love the playground for the kids too!
Hand breaded mushroom appetizer was so good! Place was jammed, server was buried and she still gave exceptional service! We will go back again!

This was a totally relaxing and enjoyable experience. The wait staff was so helpful, professional and courteous, he helped with the decisions of our food by giving a great description of what we chose, the tub of Dos X, the fried mushrooms ? and everything else, yummy ?!!
